Who are you in your circle of friends?

Are you the quiet one, the wise one? Maybe, you're both!? How do your friends identify you?

I would probably say that I'm the insane one, but who is discreetly wise and can be serious when needed or in those odd breaks between ridiculous (often sexual) humor.

Strangely enough that reminds me so much of how I act around friends. Scary thought that :S

Probably a leader, with everyone asking my opinion and generally being a complete prat 90% of the time.

OT: I'm the quiet one, really. Most of my usual 'friendship group' are funny and clever, so I can't really put those. Oh, I'm also the lovely, nice one. And modest, did I mention modest?! People say I'm nice, so thats my excuse for putting it.

And also, hello everyone! After six months contributing absolutely nothing, I thought I might get round to actually posting! At least I tried!

Different circles, different roles.

One circle of friends I'm a judge (DMing) and storyteller.

One circle of friends i'm a sophist.

One circle of friends I'm a drunken fool who'll likely kill himself if somebody doesn't my keys off me if I rode my moto out to their party. (But tbh in that circle of friends we're all drunken idiots)

I've always thought that personalities were all about external examination of worth and qualities, not an internal perpetuity of iconographic traits.

So you have a 'job' personality amongst work colleagues (of whom you might be very close with). A party personality. An academic personality around those of whom you share discourse with in an intelligentsia. A spiritual personality for when you are engaging in matters of the soul, love and personal sacrifice with a significant other.

Like for example, have you ever met a girl at Uni or work, and then taken her to meet another circle of friends and you feel as though she isn't so much attracted to 'that side of you' due to expectations that you'd maintain a stable set of personalised normative behaviour?

I think everybody is like this to an extent. Different audience, different personality.

You are a creation of not only self-examination, but the examination of people exami*ning* you.

Well that's how I rationalise it anyways <.<

I am the philosophical, weird, awkward girl with occasional caffeine fueled outbursts of hyperactivity who everyone seems to think is quiet. I am also the wanderer, I have a few different groups I hang out with.

I'm the man with the plan. My friends know that while I'm certainly capable of spur-of-the-moment action I usually prefer having a well thought-out plan. And five contingency plans to go with the first one... as you may have already guessed, this sometimes also results in me making things more complicated than they need to be.
I like to think I'm the voice of reason, but from a more sober viewpoint I suppose I'm rather the advocate of caution.

Annoying with bad jokes and likes to but in. I'm the one always going on about games and i get a lot of the crappy jokes from my friends, but i don't let it get to me because i know they're joking. I don't have that many lady friends either..

I was a large range of "Friend types". The Smart guy, the snarker, the big guy, the buttmonkey, the "guy who's always got your back", the quiet guy, The chick (look it up on tvtropes).

The only thing I wasn't was a minority really. My personality is so inconsistant it changes on a whim.

I'm weird. That's about it.
