Well, I've said it before and I'll say is again: Stupid people!
Ah, but wait! Today, I'll expand on this to get a feel for what I hate in the stupids.
The Common Sense Rule - Many people lack this. I don't know if it's something beaten out of them or they just don't ever get it in the first place. I know it's not related primarily to education, because I knew a good idea from bad long before a college degree or, in fact, reaching double-digits on my age. Yet there are dumb people in society. Business majors who obtain business degrees and go work to become business managers and somehow cock up the entire works. A professor who takes the best student in his class and accuses her of plagerism when she's clearly studied, cited, and worked her ass off for a paper. What happened here?
The Deliberate Fool - Not like the class clown or the telemarketers, but a type of person who has decided not to learn, ever, for any reason. I encountered a number of people like this growing up and my only thought is "Why? This shit isn't even that HARD!". In high school, I was top-of-the-line for YEARS because everyone else was just a duh-fest. I could crack jokes around them and smart-alecky quips right in their presence and they wouldn't even know it. Sad sad sad... Of course, the staff knew. But then, they weren't much of a prize pick either. Oh well. I guess I have a bias towards anyone who says "Edjumacated".
The Wrong Kind of Attitude - There is a type of attitude that I see common in dumb people that turns me off, big time. It's that moment that when they start talking, a big dong - You know what I mean. - appears on their forward and they're voice becomes a loud, wet fart because they're talking out of their ass. This is what happens when you parrot a company line and not speak your own mind or opinion. It's what happens when you try to get me into a debate that I didn't wanna hear and you miss the cue to stop...like if I hit you, hard. Once you take that position, you have shifted ANY argument or debate from 'discuss' to 'one-up-manship', which was never the point intended.
On these categories alone, I meet alot of people that rub me the wrong way. They're not what you call arch-nemesis material, but they're about as mortal enemy as I've got right now until the zombies come.
