Of course! Silly me! I'm sure a load of people just immediately came to the spontaneous decision to buy that particular RatM single. There wasn't a guy on Facebook telling them to, or anything. Nope. Not at all.ChromeAlchemist said:Fixed?Sandwich Man said:So, we're all buying a single en masse to get it to number one because someone told us to, because we don't want to buy a single en masse to get it to number one because no one told us to?

No I didn't buy it nor did I buy the xfactor one because I don't like any of them.
If the X factor guy wins, Cowell and Sony get paid; if RATM win then only Sony get paid - Syco is owned by Sony, not the other way round.happysock said:Yes I do realise that and i'm still sticking by the original post I madeAdambotLive said:No he does'nt.happysock said:Well considering both are on the same record label ergo Mr Simon Cowell is still receiving the money I could not care less who gets the number one hit single, but in answer to your question, no I have not purchased their single.
You do realise sony owns a branch of smaller companies, right?
Actually, you can buy a maximum of 3.The Cheezy One said:meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

He might be able to sing well, but he is singing a rehashed Disney safe Miley Cirus song which was written by some over-paid song writers; the rage song was on the other hand written by the group themselves and has some meaning, background and feeling to it. Hell, there is a lot more to being a successful artist than just being able to sing, half the guys ont he x-factor could sing very well im sure and theyre not going anywhere. If Joe can perform then he will do fine, whether he gets this number 1 or not. There is a large difference between the two, and people have just had enough of this crap being forced down their throat xmas after xmas.happysock said:Although I do understand that and by no way am I picking sides in this, but I do feel sorry for the kid as he is an amazing singer, also cowell isn't Joe McElderry it's Cheryl Cole I think.Gilbert Munch said:That is something everybody seems to pick up on, but for the intents of the 'rebellion' (or whatever) it doesn't matter. Its not about money, irs about showing people that the x-factor (and similar shows) dont have to control people and that with enough support, anything is possible to liberate peopleHUBILUB said:Wow, so a guy you don't like win and you buy singles from the other band?
The hell is this? You do realize you're not changing []anything[/b]? Sony is getting their money whatever you do.
Ouch what was that for. Like I said I'm not taking sides I was just saying the kids a good singer and feel a bit sorry for him, not saying he SHOULD be number one, I understand he hasn't written the incredibly poor Miley Cyrus song either.tk1989 said:He might be able to sing well, but he is singing a rehashed Disney safe Miley Cirus song which was written by some over-paid song writers; the rage song was on the other hand written by the group themselves and has some meaning, background and feeling to it. You dont have to buy it, no one is forcing you to. Its just there is more to this than Simon Cowell making money.
Damn I hate that woman, you could fit a baby's skull inside of of those nostrils!Cmwissy said:Plus the Idea of Fearne Cotton interviewing RATM at Christmas...was....fantastic.
