who cares that FF XIII is going to be on the 360?

i've seen a lot of people complaining about this trivial fact. but i was just wondering if anyone really cares that final fantasy is not going to be ps3 only? personally i do not care, but maybe that's because i'm a huge FF fan and only own a 360?

*edit* just to clarify, i'm happy it's on 360, as i'm not shelling out for a ps3 and i really want to play it!

I'm glad it's going multiplatform, so those who don't want to buy a PS3 can play what will hopefully be a great game.

nah i get that. i was a devoted sony fan until my ps2 broke. i fancied a change and fell in love with the xbox. but i still love final fantasy. i'm glad it's coming out on the 360. because otherwise i'd never play it. and that would make me sad!!

I personally don't care about Final Fantasy as a series.

Its pretty funny watching people get all worked up because the game is going multi-platform.


And besides, it will be the same game on each console, maybe faster load times on the PS3 because of the install, but other than that probably nothing else will be differant.

I care, since I don't have PS3, cause it's too damn expensive. I'm a huge fan of the FF series, and even though it's surely going to be a title worth buying, I wouldn't waste around 450$ on it (don't really know how much in American currency, cause I live in Sweden, and the economy is going up and down as much as a rollercoaster). So I'm pretty psyched about it.

Im sorry but holy shit please tell me that guys not for real. me personally i don't own a 360 but alot of my friends used to. I could care less that it's multi-platform. I'm just curious how similar the ports gonna be on the 360. Without a blu-ray drive or the same amount of umph under the hood. Maybe multiple disks cause i would imagine something will have to give.

Seriously, If you had a huge multinational cooperation and you could make a product to aim at 21 million (PS3's sold as of December) or 49 million (ps3 + 360's sold since December)I think the choice is obvious.

Guys like this piss me off, yes the Japanese have a culture of honor and respect, but they still know how to make money, and their companies are still f*cking huge. This IS a good move for square enix as I'm STILL going to buy FFXIII for the PS3, and if they can make some more money to keep making decent games god love them for it. The fans will not refuse to buy a game because another console has access to it, that's retarded logic.

The fans will want the game to sell so more games can be made, so what if it's not "exclusive", is it really that big a deal?

The thing that got me is, now that the game is on another system, it suddenly, automatically sucks. He basically says that. Try to follow that logic.
