Sadly, I only own a Wii and I have to borrow any other systems from my friends so I didn't buy it. But, even if I had the system for it, I am not all that interested in the game anyways.

"Am I the only one" O no there's always people that don't... I for one did not but Skyrim because I can not afford it so I probably will buy it when I get some money and the price gone down like the rest of the sane bunch... Same goes for BF3 and MW3 and probably a bunch that I want...

Didnt buy it. No reason to get anxious to play essentially the same "experience" as the last three Bethesda products.

However, excusing Bethesdas medioric(portmanteau intended) march to become EAs minime, Personally I have no interest in it right now considering Dark Souls has me enthralled, Real life has me cleaning, moving school, etc.and a backlog consisting of Arkham City, Witcher 2, all ready and waiting, or even add in The Old Republic Beta, I didnt even notice it was 11.11.11 ............

...wait, Does that mean minecraft has also been officially released as well? I havent played Minecraft since 1.8 was "leaked" .

Thankfully a year like this doesnt come around very often.

Personally, I think Im done with buying bethesda games new, considering their established track record of releasing all the collective DLC as Game of the year. Makes more sense to wait, and it will still end up being cheaper. Man if these publishers get wise to how easily that can be manipulated, well all be in trouble.

Final thought: I just cant find the energy to get excited about Skyrim. I think it has something to do with the all too real prospect of winding down dark narrow corridors endlessly on a valliant quest to Accidentally pick up some meaningless trash item such as a tin can or a fork from just out of reach in the distance. Yeah dont hold my place in line to wait on that.

I preordered it but I don't have it yet. All post goes to one place on university campus which doesn't allow you to collect it until 5 pm. And they usually take a long time to sort it all out. So I'm hoping I'll get to play it tomorrow....

I want.... so much.

I didn't buy it, even though I seriously want it. My reason is simply because I don't own a PS3 or a 360, and my PC is running on 4 years old now, so it would JUST BARELY hit the minimum requirements, which I'd rather not do with such an awesome game.

Nah, first stop will be getting either a brand new PC or one of the two aforementioned systems. THEN Skyrim.

I didn't. I just don't have the time or the cash to sink into another Bethesda game right now. I figure I'll wait a year or two and get the GotY edition, or something, with all the DLC included.

I didn't either.

But then I'm still playing MW3.

And yes I've noticed that making statements like that tends to incite the B3 fanboys to flame. But what the heck. I like the Modern Warfare series. I'm sure I'd like Battlefield too, but I've only got so much money to spend on games, and I chose MW. I'll probably pick up BF3 when it's a bit cheaper.

Back on-topic: Similarly to the sentiment above. I'm sure Skyrim would be excellent, and I'd enjoy it and lose lots of time to it. But I can't buy it at the moment, and since I still haven't got around to playing Oblivion yet (which seems unlikely now), I felt I could wait for a while.

To be perfectly honest people I hang out with wouldn't shut up about it not even after they got it. Kinda ruined the game for me so I'm probably never going to buy it.

I didn't. And do not plan to, at least for the foreseeable future. There are four distinct reasons for this:

1: I am currently enamored with Battlefield 3 online, as well as TF2 and a back-log of games I still need to finish.

2: I'm not a big fan of Bethesda releases. Especially as of late. (dem bugs)

3: I was none-too-fond of the Elder Scrolls games before Skyrim. And I've yet to see anything in this one to make me think I'll change my mind.

4: Over the course of the next year I'll be busy with Dota 2, CS:GO, Prototype 2, Borderlands 2, Heart of the Swarm, and Diablo 3. Ergo, my gaming palette will be quite full for some time.

I did not buy Skyrim. Or Oblivion or Morrowind or Daggerfall. I don't care for the Elder Scrolls games.
Anyway, I'm too busy getting psyched over the release of Skyward Sword ... I don't expect it to be awesome but it's a Zelda game and I love Zelda and anyway I'm getting it for free so I'm excited.

I didn't get it for a few reasons. Don't know if they'll seem wierd or not. I do have a slight interest in Skyrim based on its highly effective marketing strategies; however, I have played Elder Scrolls games before and they always leave me with this sense of being incredibly alone in a world I'd rather have multiplayer adventures in. Which sounds wierd to myself because I like playing games like Legend of Zelda and Fable. Somehow their worlds just don't overwhelm me like Elder Scrolls' do. Dunno what it is.

That and I don't like first-person gameplay, which the Elder Scroll series seems more made for. I know you can switch to third person at times but when I played Oblivion my character always felt like they were in my way of seeing things, as opposed to other third-person games. Maybe I'll download a trial sometime (if one exists) and see if the control and camera scheme are better.

I didn't. I suffer from a horrible affliction called unemployment. This directly affects my supply of disposable income.

OMG ITS FINALLY OUT?! I need it so I don't look like wank in front of my friends but on the other hand I'm really busy today and I'm nearly broke D: OH GOD DILMENA?!

On the other hand I bought FFXIII right after it came out before all the reviews purely based on screen shots and the hype it go before hand and well that was a nice big kick in the balls

Not me. I'm not into Elder Scrolls or anything that Bathesda brings out. I find them boring and not really fun to play. Skyrim hasn't really shown me anything that would change that opinion.

Who has two thumbs and didn't buy a buggy RPG from a developer that has never released a good game ever?

This guy.
