I've had several strangers (female customers I was ringing up while I worked retail), apropos of nothing, mention that I reminded them of either A) Jim Carey or B) Christian Slater in the 80s - I was assured that those were both intended to be complimentary comparisons at the time they were made.

Many times I've been told I look like Davina McCall - even to the point where some random man came up to me in the street and said, "you look like that woman on the telly!"
I don't see it myself. I think I have a bit more Final Fantasy Yuna to me, but hey ho.
