Persona 3, Fuuka, same problem as P4. Annoying voice, Captain Obvious. You defeated the enemy! *gasp* No shit, Fuuka. I could handle when Mitsuru was doing it because she at least had a nice voice. But FUUKA.. *gasp**gasp**gasp**gasp**gasp**gasp**gasp* Why do we even need someone to tell us what we're doing? I JUST DID IT.

Also.. Fran from FF12. Good lord, she sounds like she has a mouth full of jolly ranchers. No wonder the rest of the freaking viera kicked her out. Worst part is, they all sound completely normal, she's the only viera who talks like that. (as I recall, could be wrong)Any interest I might have in the character goes flying out the window because I can't stand to listen to her.

Now that I think about it.. Final Fantasies are full of characters who you end up wanting to beat the shit out of.

2: The devs. Go explore.. just not that way.. or that way.. ehehe.. Enjoy your free roaming death trap.
4: I didn't mind Edward, but we have "You Spoony Bard!" for a reason.
7: Yuffie. Cloud when he's being a *****. Cait Sith (I kidnapped your fucking daughter! Ehehe)
8: Squall, from what I've heard. Didn't play this one.
9: Quina. Amarant.
10: Tidus. Tidus. Tidus. Kimarhi. Tidus.

Baird is about the only person I can stand in that game. Anya chimes in every 2 seconds with useless shit, Dom QQ's about his wife too much, Marcus just yells, and Dizzy is a stereotypical Southerner. Baird is the most down to Earth (or Sera rather) person in the game.

So many worthy candidates...

- The Adoring Fan from Oblivion
- Juanito the radio guy from Tropico 3 (they even give you the option to permanently silence him in the new expansion pack)
- Betty Boom, the revolutionary radio chick from the aforementioned Tropico 3 expansion. Actually made me like Juanito just by comparison
- Pretty much any children in any game anywhere. I love the way the Sims franchise so perfectly encapsulates the occasional parental desire to kill one's own children just to shut them up. This includes the various Koopa Kids in Super Mario games since SMB3 on the NES.
- Any character who acts as an in-game tutorial. The moment you tell me to press X to not die or whatever, you've broken immersion and that makes me angry. At least give me a game mode to skip the tutorial sections and cut right to the good stuff. If the actual game doesn't start until the 5th level, then levels 1-4 need to be cordoned off and put in a separate part of the main menu. Ahem...
- Any Bosmer in Morrowind with a speaking part. At least Craig Sechler didn't make me want to kill him with his voice portrayals---well, OK, he was still annoying but it was from overkill, not pure incompetence, and he redeemed himself very well with his performance in Fallout 3. The damn Wood Elves in Morrowind can't say that for themselves.
- Tidus from Final Fantasy X. Any lingering potential for me to enjoy Final Fantasy pretty much died when I heard his whiny little voice.
