Who do you think will be the actual squadmates in Mass Effect 3?

Any word on how they explain Garrus and Tali definitely being back if they died against the Collectors in ME2?

Also, there's 17 possible squadmates who could have theoretically survived the first 2 games (15 after Kaidan/Ashley and Samara/Morinth choices) on top of any new squadmates for this one? If they're bringing Liara and Kaidan/Ashley out of retirement, why not Wrex? Why not end up with a massive 25 person crew? The battle for the fate of the universe is not the time to exercise restraint in party size.

Anyway, I wholeheartedly supported robot EDI, and aside from that, I really hope Samara comes back so I know I'll have an asari that's not Liara that I can play with?

Yeah, you aren't the only one. That was one of the main reasons i thought they were bullshit, but BioWare have confirmed this.

The body belonged to TIM, and is made to look like an old friend of his who died just after the First Contact War (it happened in a comic).

Sigh... Well there goes any notion of ME3 being a straight-faced space epic. First it's humanxAI hook-ups, next thing you know there's a giant mega-Shepard fistfighting a reaper.

If they died in ME2, they are still dead in ME3.

Definitely back as in definitely possible options for squad mates, if they died in your ME2 game and you use that save they will be dead in ME3.
Wrex is is probably out as if he lived through ME1 he refuses to come back in ME2 no reason he would change his mind and priorities now, he will probably be a plot piece but I doubt squad mate.
I would like to see Samara back as well she was one sexy badass.
