Who do YOU trust?

My best friend, my girlfriend, my mum and two close friends. No-one else, not by a hair.

Myself, my psychologist, my friend Jonesy, and I guess I trust my family to...stick by me. I don't really tell them anything, though. They tend to overreact, or give me unwanted advice. But I could trust them if I needed to.

I trust different people with different things. I trust myself with everything, except maybe sharp objects, because you can't really hide things from yourself. I trust my psychologist to listen to what I have to say, and not tell anyone. I trust Jonesy to always be tactlessly blunt, and tell me when I'm being an idiot. I trust my family to love me unconditionally. So it really depends. I can't say I trust any one person with absolutely everything, though.

I'll put it this way, the people i trust, got my trust by having earnt it over many years, these people aren't my friends, as far as i'm conserned, they're family, i'd die for any one of them, outside that select circle, i trust no one, humans are animals, and they'll eat you alive if you give them the chance.

On a serious note, I fully trust the goblin in my ear canal who tells me to 'splode things. He only does it because he knows the world deserves it.

Trust?

Since being diagnosed with mental illness, I haven't been able to trust myself. My body and mind are so very fragile...

And as for others, well there are very few. My boyfriend for one. He took me in when I broke down and couldn't work any more. He cared for me when I was suicidal. He laughs with me, and works with me...

But apart from him?

Not many others.

i trust my dad
but not my other family members and certainly not my friends, he stays calm when i tell him things and never gets angry
my mom on the other hand finds out my secrets on her own and yells at me about them and still wonders why we dont talk much anymore

It's rather easy to earn my trust. I'm rather open about myself anyway, within reason.
I don't trust myself to do anything right, though. My hat is more capable than I am.
