Well, Im happy im not the only one. My friends have been ragging on me for not liking them. Legacy had good music, and the young jeff bridges was almost believable, but i couldnt care a less about any of the characters.

I attempted to watch the first Tron one night, quite late.

I fell asleep. I will give it another shot soon though.

Yeah your right, I didnt even realize how old Bridges was after all that. Inception explained that in like 1 minute, why couldnt tron do that?

To be perfectly honest I've kept myself from seeing the latest Tron simply because it's not a two-hour long Daft Punk music video. I'm sorry, with that wonderful score and the tantalising visuals, concepts like 'story' and 'dialog' would have gotten in the way of the wonderful experience I want.

That said, someone please tell me that option is available on the DVD, as that may get me to at least rent it while I await my vinyl copy of the score to arrive.

I hated the latest one. It's probably the worst movie I saw last winter. The story was a joke, and the villain was ridiculously laughable.

The first one's pacing was awful, but it was still fun to watch. And the second was great because of Michael Sheen's brilliant performance.

Wow OP, your right. Those movies are terrible, everyone who likes them must be crazy. But you have shown us the way to knowing better about what is crap, lead the way messiah.

Ok I'm just teasing, relax.

Seriously though, the first movie had its charm. I can see why people liked it, even though I wouldn't see it again personally. It was fun to watch, isn't that what most movies are for? I don't want to watch an epic like the godfather or lord of the rings every time I sit down.

As for the second movie, no idea. Didn't see it.

If you want a hour long Daft Punk music video, then just but/download Interstella 5555. Its their Discovery album/movie.
I figure this is a response to me, but I'm well aware of that collaboration between Daft Punk and Leiji Matsumoto. If anything I do thank you for the excuse to watch it again.

The first one is quite literally painful (in a literally literal sense).
Legacy I liked a lot, though. The story wasn't the best, but good lord the Imax made it worth it.
