I've always enjoyed the original Tron because I really enjoy the concept of it. Ever since I was a kid, I've thought the idea of going into a computer was really neat; that movie kind of just took everything I ever thought and said, "Yeah, here's what it might look like". And though the visuals aren't as impressive as they used to be, I think they're a really cute snapshot of the period's technology. I mean, if you were transported into a computer from the late 70's/early 80's... Yeah, it'd probably look like that.
My enjoyment for Legacy stems in equal parts from a deep appreciation for the original, a serious love of Daft Punk, and a willingness to let substance take a backseat to style once in awhile. Yeah, the story's kind of lacking, but it's a fun watch, doubly so for any fan of the original. That's good enough for me.
