I've always enjoyed the original Tron because I really enjoy the concept of it. Ever since I was a kid, I've thought the idea of going into a computer was really neat; that movie kind of just took everything I ever thought and said, "Yeah, here's what it might look like". And though the visuals aren't as impressive as they used to be, I think they're a really cute snapshot of the period's technology. I mean, if you were transported into a computer from the late 70's/early 80's... Yeah, it'd probably look like that.

My enjoyment for Legacy stems in equal parts from a deep appreciation for the original, a serious love of Daft Punk, and a willingness to let substance take a backseat to style once in awhile. Yeah, the story's kind of lacking, but it's a fun watch, doubly so for any fan of the original. That's good enough for me.

Loved them both, sure most kids these days wont appreciate the first one like we old people did back in the 80s (imagine THAT movie during the 80s, BEFORE jurassic park and Terminator 2 opened the floodgates of CGI in movies) right now it looks horribly dated but back them it was a trip! and still is, for the ones who remember seein it in cinemas. so is a matter of "perspective" i was like 8 years old when i watched the first one and still is one of my favorite childhood movies so my opinion is majorly biased (just like, Legend, Labirinth, The Never Ending Story, Krull, Willow, and the Dark Crystal, cuestionable nowadays but i was a kid when i first saw them and still love them all, i guess 25 years from now well see people defending crap like Transformes because they saw them as kids)

please I still can't believe that i actually spent money to see the reboot when i didn't even see the original...there was no real interest though in hindsight i should have gone to a Slick Rick show instead..smh
