Hmmm... that looks unpleasant, although there are worse things that can happen when sleeping. http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-072

Note to self- Buy some ear plug and a new alarm clock that has a loud alarm sound.

I'm joking and I glad to see that the removal was simple. (Good thing the spider didn't bite her!)

I like how the story happened in China, but includes a mention that there are lots of spiders in the US.

As an Australian gardener/landscaper...
I have had (small) spiders in my ears, eyes, nose and mouth on multiple occasions.

Big fucking whoop!

How about wear earplugs whilst you sleep? Or earmuffs or something? I suppose you could go the whole hog and wear a dust mask too, or just sleep in one of those enviromentally controlled beds that have a plastic tent around it and has a zip to get in and out.

Also: 100th post.

Ya but I always sleep with the covers tucked in for my feet so I'm all good for SCP-072 since it only goes for people that have their feet exposed.

OT: Already wear earplugs to bed, so this, although bad news, isn't that troubling for me either.

I'll be sleeping fine thanks, but that is pretty disturbing. Glad the women was ok. Can't believe it was in there for 5 days though!

Yeah I saw this earlier... I may not sleep tonight. Suffering from arachnophobia things will do one of two things, cure me or scar me for life.

Why do you wear earplugs to bed?
No really.
Why?

OT: Well... I'll just... yeah, earplugs. Great.

Tonight? I may never sleep again!
As an arachnophobe, the article, and especially that picture, terrify me immensely.
