im often surprised how childish and immature my generation is. im in year 13, the final year before i go uni, and im astounded that even the year 12s are still so childish.
as for the 13 year old tarts that run around in next to nothing, its fucking disgusting that parents let there children wear these types of clothes. never mind the fact that paedophiles are having a field day with it, theres the fact that 99% of the population who arent paedophiles DO NOT want to see some 13 year olds ass or boobs. sickening.
i seen some 13 year old chavs at the bus stop a couple of weeks ago, right after school had finished, and they were drinking vodka out of a bottle. at 13. 3pm. at a bus stop. its ridiculous.

Ok, well, i guess i'm in kinda the same boat as you seeing as im only 18 (actually i just turned 18 today XD) but yea. Seeing the little kids walking around with stuff they shouldn't have or in some cases, shouldn't be wearing, is a total failure on the part of the parents. I myself wasn't allowed a cell phone until i was 16.

So yea, it is kinda disgusting.

i do believe that parents are giving in on their kids way too often and it's not healthy for the kid or the parents wallet for that matter.

Remember that not all kids fit the stereotype. In a young modern society if your different or want to act differently your peers will be totally unforgiving (they don't like people who want to be nice to other people). It's hard for kids not to conform to what the majoritiy of their age group wants them to conform to because otherwise other kids their age will shun them or tease them (I got confused just typing that).

The first sentence should have a period after the word 'Poland' instead of a comma. The words "Poland", "English", and "America" are proper nouns and should be capitalized. "Americas" should be spelled "America's" because it is possessive.

BTW...I'm an American.

Sadly the internet was not invented, Socrates would have been 10 times as disgusted.
I was always more of a Plato man myself, lol.

Yeah, my younger brother is growing up in this generation and he has some really great and respectful friends, but I see a lot of children his age with no respect for authority figures in the law, let alone their parents.
Perhaps as we get older we just start to see the worst in people, including children.
As we get older we mature and thats when we realise how immature those younger than us are, thats what this is born from.

I really hate my generation, most of us are spoiled brats who complain about a job like they're getting their arm pulled off for minimum wage. Lets also not get started on the cell phones... wait why did she want a second one? But yeah kids are spoiled and they have no patience to let things come to them.
Thank you, I more often then not hate being in the company of people my age they're such brats and every other freaking day someone breaks up with them and it's my fault somehow so they ***** to me on MSN later that night.

Although there are a good few I was friends with some good kids back in NZ.

Yeah, I hate them. A few days ago I walked into an ice cream shop and instantly 3 kids ran over running round me yelling "Dude! Dude! Dude! Dude!" meanwhile the parents were sitting at a table scratching their ass or something. I swear I really wanted to see if my results on the "How many 5 year olds could you take on in a fight" were accurate... I hate a lot of people in my generation and younger...

I'm 16 like quite a few folks in this thread and I've had enough of other people my age too. What I find to be the biggest problem is that the misbehaving kids are no longer content with just not caring themselves; they now seem to feel the need to screw everything up for everyone else. This usually comes in the form of being loud and obnoxious, and really really gets on my nerves. I really couldn't care less if you want to turn your life into a complete waste of time, but if you're going to try and ruin my chances just because you're an envious, attention seeking child, you can go to hell for all I'm concerned, and it's now getting where the girls are as bad or worse than boys, I can't count the amount of times I've been shoved aside by some stuck-up, arrogant fat cow who believes she's so good that it's not worth the effort of moving around me or politely asking me to move, but rather I should simply move out of her way or be moved, regardless of whether I even knew she was there.
It destroys all my confidence in the human race knowing there are people out there that will never think of even uttering the words "excuse me", "sorry, that was my fault" or "please".

Another problem is this group mentality that, for lack of a better word, chavs adopt so frequently. They all listen to the same ridiculous music, wear the same ridiculous clothing, have the same attitude of thinking they're better than everyone else, and worst of all, they all stick up for each other regardless of what actually happened.

Take this example, my friend who's 16 like myself has a brother who's about 11 or 12 or so. When some little sh*ts aged about 13 or 14 ganged up on him in school, rubbed mud in his face, and tried to get him on the floor in some mud, my friend told them in no uncertain terms to go and f*ck themselves. One of them squared up to them, despite being about a foot and a half shorter, and hit my friend, who then in self defense hit him back. Word got back to some school staff who had them both in an office; my friend explained what happened and was not punished, as you would expect. But it seems that some people don't think like that, saying as my friend was ambushed the next day by not one, but three 17 year olds, one of them being the person he hit's brother, with one person on each arm while the third attempted to beat him up. Luckily it was broken up before any real harm could be done, but it just shows how they think. He was given no opportunity to explain that he was only defending his younger brother, which is exactly what these people (who were likely only given half a story) were trying to do, and were they mentally competent, would probably understand that they aren't the only one's who stand up for siblings, that their siblings are little buggers who deserve what they get, and leave him alone. They're also incredibly fond of ganging up on people, which is the only reason they're perceived to be dangerous - on their own they younger ones don't dare to say or do anything.
I've even had 10 and 11 year old kids attempting to aggravate or attack me because they know that if I fight back, they can get their older siblings on me. If I had a younger brother like that, I'd tell him that it was his own damn fault.

Society may have always been violent, but todays younger people are definitely getting worse, and at a much younger age. I'm curious to see what these chavs are like when they get to about 40 or 50 though, will they still be blasting crap music on crap speakers at the back of a bus?

Holy shit on a christ I hate kids nowadays. If I could, I'd go and give each and every single one of them a swift kick to the temple. Hell, I'll do that for all the retard kids at my school as well!

I swear, the kids in my school are beyond stupid! Just gather up about 20 or so of them and play Saving Private Ryan. Just sit and *watch* how they react. Trust me, this will be the most retarded thing you'll ever witness.
A few tiblets from their reactions to the movie:
-(opening scene)Is this Normandy?
-Why's the old guy said?
-Why are they in boats?
-Why are they shooting at them?
-Why doesn't that dead guy tell him that he doesn't have to carry him anymore?
-Won't they be eaten by sharks?

This went on for the entire movie. And they're 17 for shit's sake! The next movie we're watching in my history class is going to be Black Hawk Down. I strongly believe that their comments will be a lot worse.

Anyway, the people today are the most materialistic, dumbass, lazy, good-for-nothing, poor taste in music retards that I have ever scene. Most of them need to be shot. This whole whore/baggy ass sideways caps w/ stickers on the brim thing has to fucking stop, else the world will end up being run by these tards.

Read a book or go outside for fuck's sake!

There's a group of shits who regularly harrass me on the bus. A motley collection of year 8 chavs and slappers. Wanna know the worst part? Their ring leader is a year 11 and he's no better. I expect it form the year 8s but someone who's a single year younger than me? The only reaosn he's still alive is because I wasn't wearing my toecaps/studded gloves that time I lashed out from him getting his lackeys to place their feet up at the back of my neck, tipping it regularly, before removing his shoe and hovering his sock into my face. The worst part? In spite of being 16, clearly being their ringleader and actively instructing the shit to do it, he still doesn't seem to get that he was responsible more than the kids. I'm extremely glad that he's an isolated incident of Anti-Darwinism, but that is broodlings follow suit with such pride... It makes me understand just why kids are taking part in knife crime: Because they tick eachother off so damn much.

I'm 15 and hate it. They're all whiny and selfish, and boast that they're "grown-up" and "mature" when just seconds ago they were wailing to their parents and stamping their feet because they can't get their two month-old phone replaced.

I've had the same phone for 3+ years now, it works fine! I use it for emergencies only, in fact, I've only had to replace the credit a maximum of TWICE per year. Yes, I ask for things but I don't beg and consider it "unfair" or "ruining my life" if they refuse. Here's a tip: want your parents to be nice? Stop bitching at them and show them how intellegent you are. Seriously, it works so much better! -_-

But every generation looks down on the next generation. When the Beatles were in the charts, their grandparents thought it was rubbish music. Nowadays things haven't changed (although I hate most "popular" music too. :p), parents still look down on the trends of today's youth. When this generation is grown up they'll think they're sophisticated because they'll just become the norm.

The first sentence should have a period after the word 'Poland' instead of a comma. The words "Poland", "English", and "America" are proper nouns and should be capitalized. "Americas" should be spelled "America's" because it is possessive.

Wow, first of all. He/She was actually commenting on another person's intelligence, not their own. By showing up this person's mistakes you have not contradicted their point. The initial sentence did not require a full stop, as he was continuing the sentence on. The first sentence served as the establishing point and the second portion was in fact the point. So, while you are correct, it is perfectly acceptable to use a comma in that pretense.

While I understand that "Americans" (excluding the majority of North and South America), get an awfully bad rap, from people that have rarely if ever interacted with Americans.)
Attacking people with these opinions in this manner will not improve your international image.

Are you attempting to imply that America's education system has not dropped in standards?
What are your actual views on this topic, besides the point you made against our mutual acquantance.

(I know I sound like a ponce, and I probably have many errors in my use of possesive's and there/their/they're's but that would not discredit my point)
I edited out the "douchebag" comment right after I posted. That was unecessary. I apologize for that.

I know he was talking about other people's intelligence. That was the irony. He is implying that Americans are dumb, while commiting many simple grammar errors within the statement.

Actually, I agree that the American educational system is bad and getting worse. However, there are some very good schools and smart people who are disgusted by the quality of the system. However, nobody likes to be stereotyped by their nationality, which happens a lot to Americans, yet we are the ones who get a bad image because we (apparently) stereotype.

The circle of life.
