I don't have money right now, I may not get it on launch day, but I still want to buy it, preferably before the year ends.

I won't be purchasing it until the price comes down and the DLC is included. I'm not paying $100 for a game, even if it has all that extra content.

It's almost inevitable that people are going to rush out and buy Skyrim on the day of release, and over the following week there will be much bitching and complaining about bugs followed by a few weeks of consistent whining and while gamers impatiently wait for that first patch. There will also be people complaining about the vanilla how 'this part is too easy' or 'this thing is game breaking', which for us PC users the modding community will quickly jump on to correct.

So yeah I'm not going to rush out to buy it right away, gonna wait for some patches and some mods to come out first. Don't know if I want to wait for the standard Game of the Year edition though.

1 - Its a bethesda game. It will be plagued by game-breaking bugs early on.
2 - its a SP game, so there is little reason to hury up and get it, i wont miss anything even if i come and get it 2 years later.

I switched my Pre-order from Newegg's $48 + 3 day delivery on release, to Amazon's $60 + 10$ Promotion + $1 Release day Arrival, because 11/11/11 happens to be on a Friday, and I need to play it that weekend, all weekend long!!!!! Work sucks, try to escape it! -Removed by Mod

I'm putting it off because I won't have enough money to buy it when it comes out.
Although weirdly the longer I put it off the more it will interfere with my school work because my exams are in January..

I'm buying it when they bundle the main game with the DLC that they WILL RELEASE. I'm sure it's going to be perfectly fine when it comes out.

Soooo I have been looking forward to the release of Skyrim since it was first announced but i am also currently In the middle of a very harsh semester at school. So to insure I don't fail half my classes in the last stretch I'm am making a personal decision to abstain from buying Skyrim for at least another month. I'm just curious if anyone else is being forced to make this tragically beneficial decision for whatever reason.
I'm not. I had a car wreck, went broke, got mugged, got fired, had a relative die, had to move to a cheaper place, lost all my friends who wont talk to me now that i have moved away.
This and Saints Row 3 are literally the only good things I have going for me. I'm just glad I had paid off both preorders before getting fired. I'm going to put skyrim in and play till I pass out. Unless I find a job before then. In that case, I'll play until i have to go to work.

I am because for one, the it's bethesda. It ain't gonna be functioning all that well on launch. There isn't any pre order bonuses, I couldn't afford the limited edition anyway, no point getting it on launch unless you count a small reward card bonus for collecting a pre order.

And besides...SAINTS. F***ING. ROW. THE THIRD.

Nope, it's already pre-ordered. I'm planning on working my ass off for my oral presentation starting Monday, all the way until I actually receive my copy (physical order through Amazon), after which I'll give myself a maximum of FIVE hours with it. Back to work straight after that.

I'll have all the time in the world for it come the Christmas vacation. It's just two weeks, sure, but I'll make the most out of it. Plus, it isn't like I can't give myself two or three hours of gaming per day even in the middle of my crunch period, huh?

It's all about having priorities and an agenda.

So I'll mostly play it in spurts from here to May, at which point I'll ULS ULS RAH anybody who so much as stands in the way of my completion of the main quest and of at least one or two guild questlines.

Heeeelllllll noooo. I've been waiting this for a long time, when it comes out next week it will be downloaded to my Steam immediately. I'm actually planning on building a new pc in the coming week to make sure I can run it at top specs all the time.

Well, considering on 12-11-2011 (that's 12 of November Americans) Terranoise will be visiting Athens, therefore I shall be consuming a large amount of MDMA, I will really need something to take my mind off the "coming down" the next days, so Skyrim will help me overcome the after-molly depression.

Besides, I trust myself that it won't ruin my performance in college. If I can't control myself then I do not deserve to have a bright future (not to imply this logic applies to anyone but myself)!

I've decided to just go ahead and get the Collector's Edition. You can't take money with you anyway.
Yeah, but the statue is so crap!

But if I don't do that, how will bethesda know I love them?
