who else is sick of waiting for HL2 ep3?

I'm more sick of people bitching about it taking a while. It's Valve. It's done when it's done. And it's not like there hasn't been a surge of good games to play in the past 2 years. And by the way, it's only been a little more than 2 years. Going from Halo 2 to Halo 3 took 4 years, and that was considered an okay turn around for a sequel.

meh i know but its not like a full game, its a bloody chapter, its like a part of a game. if it was a full 10 hour experience i would be fucking happy to wait longer but come on.

i agree, id pay for it but seriously i think it would be much better if they released it as free DLC id be a bit pissed if its not but i would still have to buy it.

Honestly, I'm not that big a fan of the episodes...they're too short and they're not doing anything original as to when it comes to the actual gameplay.

I'd rather see Black Mesa Source or even Half Life 3 0o come out.

Valve has to meet unrealistic expectations with Episode 3. People want the game to be incredible, so they are spending a lot of time creating it. But now everyone is whining for them to release the damn thing. Will you guys just make up your minds?

Me? I can wait years without it. I know that it will come eventually, and it will be all the better for it. I also know that the second they show a trailer for it the wait is going to be 100x harder, so I'm glad they haven't shown much.

It's not like Valve hasn't even started working on it yet. It's been in production since before Episode 2 was released.

Yep, it's just that everyone really wanted to be on the L4D 1 & 2 train more. I think they were just giving the consumers what they wawnted more, I remember when they showed L4D I put Ep-3 on the backburner.

But I would still love to play that game sometime soon though.

This game had better be upgraded in every way. It has been about six years since Half-Life 2 proper and I really don't think they should just use the same assets for episode 3 and call it a day considering how long it is taking to come out. But then again I don't actually consider Valve that good of a developer to begin with. They certainly make competent games but they are far from the masterpieces that some make them out to be.
