Who else thinks Chrono Cross is better than FFVII?

Chrono Cross? Holy shit! They made a successor to Chrono Trigger?!

Why the hell did I not know of this? Must... track... it... down....

It's not going to remind you of chrono trigger very much, i'm afraid. It's good, the main focus is traveling to two parallel universes rather than time traveling to several different times. There's also a -lot- of characters, about 40 or so, they're in varying degrees of usefulness. They do manage to make them all have their individual personalities though.

Though hopefully in a not so spoilish way, I can tell you that is is a continuation of the plot of Chrono trigger, just in a not very apparent way for much of the game.

Oh, also, if you try it out, turn down Kidd when she first offers to help you, and say that you dont know what to do when she gets in trouble. You get some great characters if you're slightly mean to her.

Even so, I'm intrigued.

They both suck. Now if you said Chrono Trigger it would be a no brainer that it is better.

But really, There's a bunch of old/new RPGs that are way better than FFVII

Yeah but CC was made in the same gaming era as FFVII so its not like I'm comparing FFVII to Demons Soul. I just don't understand all the love for a game that had better games released at around the dame time (if I'm right about release times).

I understand. And I agree with you. But I'm saying that there was a lot of RPGs that were much better.

Chrono Cross is alright... So is Chrono Trigger.

Better than FFVII, but not FFVI... or Terranigma.

Well now that you mention FFVI... I'm trying (<---- yes trying) to play that game but I found combat to be repeatitive and boring. This is mainly the reason why I like CC so much, 1) you can see the enemies and 2) battle is more engaging.

Made it to the part after ythe Opera scene if you want to know but I'm starting to lose interest.
