Who else thinks that heavy rain is overrated and a complete bore

last friday i purchased a extraordinarly rated game called heavy rain.Criics were raving about it, calling it the next best thing to the reberth of jesus.after completing it a few tims i came to the realisation that there are not infinate endings to this game there is one killer and thats it one killer, and the game is basically a series of quick time events. All in all the game is just showing you an episode of home and away and asking you to push buttons to trigger the next sentence anyway im sure i'll get alot of heat for this (or completly ignored)
but i had to get it of my chest this game is shit!!!!

It's more of a film that you press buttons to watch. So If you expect a film, you'll probably enjoy it more.

You have to remember though that while the game was well reviewed most reviews have said that it wasn't for everyone. It is an incredible step forward in the realm of 'video games as an art for' but not necessarily a leap in the 'video games are fun' area. Think of it more like a Del Torro art film as opposed to the Del Torro awesome films (Pan's Labyrinth vs. Hellboy).

Well to be honest I do think it isn't worth buying. Watch a playthrough on Youtube and you'll have pretty much the same experience.

But then you have no impact on the decisions made within the game..

Pretty much bypassing the whole point in why this would be enjoyable?
