Escapists, as a German I'm used to long words.
But today I stumbled upon "Rindfleischetikettierungsueberwachungsaufgabenuebertragungsgesetzparagraph".
Yes, that's an actual german word, google it. It means: paragraph of the law about the transfer of control duties concerning the labelling of beef.
I challenge you, no matter what language, to beat that!
Only limitation: no chemical compound names, just "normal" words from your language.

THat phobia of long words. W/e it's called.
Hippopotomonstrosesquediliophobia, I think (honestly didn't Google that, promise), but it's not really that long.

I guess there's that place in Wales... *Googles* Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, but even that doesn't seem to hold up to the OP's...

There's a bunch of medical terms, but those apparently don't count, and I don't speak anything other than English (at least, not fluently), so I guess I'm out...

Apparently it's this:

Well, the fact that it says "spoiler text too long - please edit to reduce" makes a good point for you, but (I can see you word in Edit) unfortunatley, it's a chemical compound.
Phobias are also good, but they are - like chemical names - in Old Greek.
I'm searching for words in YOUR actual mother tongue.

Defining something as worthless

One of the few things that's actually easier done than said.

WOAH HOLY FUCK!!!! I saw it when I quoted you, but it's not actually working on the page. I had to delete it all just to be able to post this.
Yeah to be fair, I think spoilers are more designed for the "under 180,000 letters long" category - it's on the link I edited it to though :)
[sub]But seriously, 180,000 letters? Who the fuck named that??[/sub]

Ah fair play, I just felt it had to be posted. I mean, it is incredibly ridiculously long. I'll find something else.

EDIT: Shakespeare used "Honorificabilitudinitatibus", how about that?

@Canadamus Although... whoever made that one up should be killed in a very painful manor.

That word must take something like a half hour to say...

I just found this Greek word coined by the playwright Aristophanes and it's Lopadotemakhoselakhogameokranioleipsanodrimypotrimmatosilphiokarabomelitokatakekhymenokikhlepikossyphophattoperister-alektryonoptokephalliokigklopeleiolagōiosiraiobaphētraganopterýgōn
and the fear of long words is called: hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia
I love irony

Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis is the longest English word to appear in a dictionary

Lopadotemachoselachogaleokranioleipsanodrimhypotrimmatosilphioparaomelitokatakechymenokichlepikossyphophattoperisteralektryonoptekephalliokigklopeleiolagoiosiraiobaphetraganopterygon
is the longest unofficial word that someone A didn't pull out of their ass and B isn't a chemical compound. Transliteration of an Ancient Greek word.
