Who Has the Prettiest Voice?

For men: Freddie Mercury, his vocal range and power were outstanding and one of a kind especially for someone who had no formal vocal training beyond being in a choir in his youth at school. A pity he died so young really, it would be interesting to see what he could of done these days.

For women, either Ellie Goulding or Kerry Ellis, both fantastic singers with amazing voices.

Elizabeth Fraser from The Cocteau Twins is one of the most amazing voices in Dream Pop.


Julianne Regan from the terribly underrated Gothic Dream Pop Band All About Eve.


And last, but not certainly least, Belinda Butcher from the shoegazing band My Bloody Valentine.

Yah... that's my fav song by her (props to Yoko Kanno for being an awesome songwriter too), though I Can't Be Cool, Velveteen and Christmas in the Silent Forest are brilliant songs, too.
