I know who they are, only because of the very disturbing album covers they have. I worked at a CD/DVD distribution center and remember picking their CD's on occasion.
Yeah, I know them. I'm sitting here lol'ing to myself because there was almost an exact replica thread about Daft Punk a week or so ago. You get points for at least being a tiny bit more obscure. I think I'm going to make a thread about Pendulum or something next.
I know Richard David James. I'm not that into electronica. Chris Cunningham's video for Come to Daddy is one of the all time greatest videos. I think any one with a slight interest in film-making would know Come to Daddy. So yeah, I know Aphex Twin, mostly from his freaking disturbing videos, but I like the music from those videos.

I don't listen to much electronica, because I never get recommendations.

Ha ha, yeah it's properly messed up lol. Aphex Twin are a very experimental group. It doesn't always sound pretty but you bet you're arse it has impact... Their videos used to be banned from most tv stations. Even now it can only be shown past watershed I believe...lacktheknack said:
