Who here is interested in syndicate?

I knew almost nothing about it coming in here. Now I'm definitely nonplussed.

I kinda wish they would stop trying to win over the fan with this "oh were so interesting a game because you can press a button which causes cover to pop up or someone to die, that clearly has so much tactical depth"
The gameplay that I have seen makes it look like a really solid shooter with a great core feel like Rage.

I'm liking it so far. It seems to perserve the setting and the spirit of the original Syndicate games while shifting the genre to FPS. The gameplay displayed so far seems promising and I'm hoping it'll be Deus Ex-ish in the end.

Just for the record, I dislike the XCOM FPS because not only are they shifting the genre to FPS but they are changing the setting and pretty much cutting all ties to the original games. Syndicate at least preserves the setting so the genre shift isn't a big deal for me.

Granted, I'm looking more favourably on the XCOM FPS as well now that they are also making the XCOM strategy game too and tying the two games together...

The Syndicate game is at least going to nod to the original and will tie in overall and be a viable game.

The abomination should be killed with fire for completly crapping all over the orginal idea setting theme style background lore etc and sticking 2 fingers upto everyone by saying 'lolololol FPS sell'

I'm not looking forward to it at all. SOUNDTRACK BY SKRILLEX displayed on the trailer like it's something to be proud of. That basically makes it a no play for me.

I am. Looks more interesting then the new Deus Ex. Plus it's by Starbreeze.

Won't be getting it at launch though. Have a feeling it'll take a dip in price a month after release.
