Super Smash Bros Melee=awesome
LoZ: Wind Waker=2nd best LoZ IMO behind Ocarina of Time, Yes I played Twilight Princess, I was not terrbily impressed
Eternal Darkness: Best. Horror game. Ever.
and the awesome Resident Evil remake.

But most importantly, TWIN SNAKES! Anything with Metal Gear Solid on it is pure win in my book.

The Gamecube, for all it's bizarritude and nonexistent internet support, has some of the best couch multiplayer games of all time. It's a good system.
Internet support it did have. It was only for like, one game (Phantasy Star Online?), and it was one of those retarded attachments you plug into the bottom of the system, I think.
Exactly. It technically had internet support, but... really...

It was an excellent console, and its best games were phenomenal. There just weren't enough of them.

I'm gonna have to agree with everyone who's been saying it had awesome games, but not enough. That said, I love the system. It was my first home console, actually. The controller was awesome (if not suited for shooters), and the first-party games were usually outstanding. Case-in-point(s)? I believe the best games of the venerated Metroid and Zelda series were their Gamecube iterations, Prime and Wind Waker respectively.

It was a great console with some amazing games, but my only problem is that I hated the controller, I found it to be really uncomfortable, but my hands were molded around the PS2's controller.

I had a gamecube until not long ago (gave it to my little sister)!

I loved Tales of Symphonia, the latest starfox game, (not the one with the dinosaurs), Wind Waker and my imported Naruto games :3

I paid 110? for it and i never regretted it. Not back then, not now.

i love the gamecube because it wasnt recognized a graphically power system re4 acutally a some scenery that could rival a ps3 game with all the setting for graphics on high killer 7 also had an amazingly high level of graphical powr going on there

Loved it. Two of my top five games are on it (Zelda: Wind Waker and Resident Evil 4). It was a great system which was shadowed by the other two contenders simply because it had a small library of third party games in comparison

I bought one simply to play REmake, Resident Evil Zero and Twin Snakes. I had no idea how amazing that controller is until I played it, and now I wanna use the GC controller for everything
I agree the conroller was amazing i can't explain why, but it just fit in my hands, plus the gamecube had some amazing games which have already nbeen said here. My favourite was getting resi 4 before the ps2, and somehow it looked better on the cube.

I actually found Mario Sunshine and Resident Evil in my cupboard the other day so went and bought a used Gamecube from Gamestation. They're really awesome. The RE remake is exactly what the series should be. Prefer to RE4.

I loved it to pieces. I even chose it over the ps2 when it came time for my parents to get me a console. In the end, the ps2 definitely won in terms of hardcore game supremacy (Shadow of the Colossus, Persona 3 and numerous other JRPGS), but I'll always love my G-cube. Metroid Prime FTW!

The sheer number of quality gems on the Gamecube outweighs the amount on most consoles today.

So yeah, the Gamecube was and still is one of the best systems. (Plus it's nearly indestructible.)

Yeah, it was clearly lacking a few things, but there were some damn good games on there. Really, the last console generation was a lot more balanced in terms of hardware, so even multiplatform games were rarely skimped on the Gamecube.
