I still have mine. Have Smash Bros M., Metroid nr.whateverIdonteven (that first gamecube one), and ...Mystic Heroes? 2?

The problem with the gamecube is probably the fact that it came after >9000 playstation2 games and just before the "OMG microsoft made a lolhueg box and called it Xbawx!!!"
It didn't bring anything new to the scene. It had the first nintendo discs (the wtf, tiny discs), very well done there, but no real mindboggeling games. The standard francheezes did littel (mario sunshine? whatever. and Windwaker fell flat). Then it had to compete with muttafriggin HALO.

yeah...

Thumbs up for Twilight Princess (I consider it a gamecube game, so suck it) and Paper Mario, lets move on to the omg it prints money Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!

Ok so I notice that more than a lot of people I know bash the Gamecube. The biggest reason for this being that it had no good games. To this I call shinanigans. I freaking loved Smash Bros., Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door, and Wind Waker. I even liked Mario Sunshine and that Starfox game with the dinosaurs. Don't ask me why I liked them but I did. So I wanna know, did anyone like something from the Gamecube?
but those were all the nintendo mascot games. im not saying those dont count but its rare for any nintendo console to not have stellar mascot games. compared to most of nintendos other systems, the gamecube fell short. compared to the wii, however, i like the gamecube a lot more. i mean say what you will about the gamecube, but at least it played video games, rather than a series of minigames

smash bros, paper mario, wind waker, mario sunshine, starfox(dinosaur and the one with wolf/lizard in), viewiful joe 1+2, luigi's mansion, timesplitters 2 (3 was good, but had on xbox), mario kart:DD, sonic adventure 2(ROLLING AROUND AT THE SPEED OF SOUND), sonic heroes, pikmin(was alright, a bit slow), rouge squadrion(a bit), star wars bounty hunter, LoZ four swords, shadow the hedgehog(only completed 1 playhtrough though). Some people say Twilight Princess, I loved it on the wii, but never had it on the GC.

some ones that were fun to play (every now and then, or till the magic faded) harvest moon: wonderful life, mario party 4, guantlet:dark legacy, final fantasy crystal chronicles, mario tennis, super monkey ball, the simpsons games.

yucky games: xmen(the fighting one), metroid, f-zero.

the two games i want to play but don't have, can't find; Wario Land and Billy Hatcher. (I want to play them for personal opinion).

and the one general purpose game: pokemon box, it's so much more than pokemon ranch (due to us not having the Plat/HGSS update unlike the japanese)

NOSTALGIA-ING HARD!

Can't wait for the 3DS, I hope the remake games on it

I loved the Gamecube. It's what really got me into gaming. Luigi's Mansion, Wind Waker, SSBM, Mario Party, Mario Sunshine, tons of great games that I adored.

I freaking loved that purple brick, hell I still have mine. Smash Brothers Melee, Sunshine (my favorite Mario game, take that you 64 and Galaxy fanboyos), and Wind Waker which is my second favorite Zelda game of all time. It's probably only beat by the N64 as far as Nostalgia for me, long winters in the basement. :3

Personally I thought it was about as good as the N64. I liked MGS: The Twin Snakes, Smash Bros. Melee, and I really want to play Tales of Symphonia.
DO IT! FIND THAT GAME AND BEAT IT!

And then beat it again.
And then start looking for all the alternate routes to the story (Tip: YOU CAN KILL THE ANNOYING SEXUALLY AMBIGUOUS MAN!)
Are you kidding me. Zelos is the man, he's the "chosen one" that any sane minded person would act like if he was born as jesus. Plus his death scene is awesome.

I like Luigi's Mansion, Mario Sunshine and Smash Bros Brawl but my overall opinion of the Gamecube is 'meh.'

dude, the gamecube was awesome! if i didnt have my ever so reliable ps2, i would have totally gotten a gamecube over that acid green/black box. yeah, it had like no third party titles, only the core series, but thats what we love about nintendo.

My friends and I used to play Melee all the time back in the day. Hell, we still do when we can get everyone together. The Gamecube was, and still is, awesome.

The GameCube was my least favourite system of the generation, but that doesn't mean I didn't like it. In fact, I'm currently playing Lost Kingdoms on my sister's GameCube.

The GameCube wasn't that bad - I own both a GC and a PS2, both are awesome in their own right - but it's selection of "great hits" was really only limited to Zelda, SSB, Mario (both Kart and Sunshine) and the rest was based off user opinion.
I personally own XG-3, Pokemon Colosseum, Crazy Taxi and LoZ-OoC Master Quest, and those 4 games just made the GC that awesome.

Gamecube was/is perhaps the best Nintendo console available. 64 had many great games, but Cube had great games too. It also had good graphics, which isn't everything, sure, but it is something.

I LOVED IT. So much so that I still have it hooked up another TV... even though I own a Wii.

It was niche, but they treated you well. So many great games, and even though there were few RPGs, they were all great (Skies of Arcadia, Baten Kaitos Origins, Tales of Symphonia are all big favourites of mine)

I like my Gamecube. It gets regular play. More than my other last generation consoles even.

I'm thinking its only fault was a lacking third party support. It doesn't have many worthwhile exclusives that aren't made by Nintendo themselves or a developer owned by them.
