My mother, she's done so much more than the average mom does for her children and she doesn't even complain about her not having much leisure time. She is my inspiration.

/Heart touching meaningful moment

Takeru Kobyashi. Any one who eats what he eats as fast as he does is inspiring. And the previous sentace looks weird because almost all the words are 3 letters or less...strange...

Lenin. For being an awesome revolutionary

Or Rasputin. This took ate a poisoned cake, took 3 bullets to the chest, and then was dumped in the lake.

He drowned to death
Rasputin also put up a good fight in a brawl sometime before or after he took the 3 bullets, then was tied up and thrown in the lake. He did drown, but only after untying himself.
I was going to say Benjamin Franklin cause he was an awesome nerd and had a very good social life, but my vote is now tied between the two when I think about it. Maybe Teddy Roosevelt too.

Dennis Leary.

One of the few people who really knows what's going on.
Yeah, because he ripped Bill Hicks off to a sickening degree.

Bill Hicks knew his shit. Leary only knows Bill Hicks' shit if you know what I mean. Watch all of Hicks's material, then Leary's then tell me that Leary dindt rip Hicks off.

Also: My father inspires me. He is a simple, honest and hardworking man who has made his own life, and his own family. If I can be half the man he is by the time I'm his age, I will be proud of myself.

I love him too much :D

I'm inspired by nearly anyone, from that anonymous man you see on a tv doco who gets up every day before sun up and works in the rice paddys till sundown scraping out a meagre existence daily to feed & clothe his family, to the weirdo up the road who spends more on time and spare parts to repair his washing machine instead of just throwing it away and buying a cheaper replacement.
I'm easily inspired.

Yeah because every single stand up comedian in history has never ever borrowed ideas or ripped one another off. Lewis Black, Dennis Leary, Bill Hicks, Sam Kennison, all have the same sort of comic style..... George Carlin's. Sure some might yell more then others, but they all took a cue from the GC. And that whole Leary vs Hicks was stupid, that only surfaced after the two were no longer friends and Leary started to become much more famous. Sadly Hicks died before it could be resolved.

And I wasn't necessarily talking about his stand up material, I was just talking about him as a person in general.

Also, who the fuck are you to question anothers inspiration?

OK mate, fair play.

You seem to have constructed a cognitive argument on the subject and in all honesty I'm too drunk to argue back. If there was an argument I could make back...

No comedian is truly original, all I was saying is that Leary is instantly comparable to Hicks (see Smoking material) to such a degree that it almost seems like straight up plagiarism.
