Question is in the title
For me, it was one of the boys in my neighborhood when I was in first grade or so. We often had supersoaker fights in the cul-de-sac where we lived. One day it was too hot for even that so he invited me in to play with him and his brother. For the next two hours or so, he taught me how to play Spyro the Dragon on the recently released PS1. I never had anyone in my family who played games (unless you count tetris...) so I was late in being introduced to the world of gaming. Even after, he was the only person I ever knew who owned a Playstation rather than an NES or N64.
So who brought the wonderful world of gaming into your lives? I admit, I'm going to be jealous of all those of you who had gamer parents.
