I've benn watching a lot of comdeians lately, strange i made this thread isn't it? Anyway, the comedians that i've seen people know the most are Dane Cook, Jeff Dunham, Jo Koy, and Stephen Lynch.

I wanted to know, what are The Escapists' favourite comedians? (by the way, it's a habbit the way i spell favourite)

Spike Milligan/Ronnie Barker (May they rest in peace)

Anyone who says "Who?" really needs to know their comedy grandfathers.

Jeff Dunham, Demitri Martin, Stephen Lynch... I only see them on Comedy Central, so I don't really know the names...

Mitch Hedburg, Kyle Cease, Christian Finnegan, and Patton Oswald.

EDIT: Forgot Dmitri Martin and Daniel Tosh, they're just as hilarious.

Lee Evans is my all-time fave, I even went to see his O2 performance at the Aberdeen AECC.

Best night out I ever had, it was fucking AWESOME, dude had me in stitches as he'd done to me since I was a kid.

My personal favorite was Mitch Hedberg.....then he overdosed.....(in all seriousness) it was extremely sad.

Here is one of my favourite quotes:

I bought a doughnut, and they gave me a receipt for the doughnut. I don't need a receipt for the doughnut, man, I'll just give you the money, and you give me the doughnut... end of transaction. We don't need to bring ink and paper into this. I just can't imagine a scenario where I would have to prove that I bought a doughnut. Some skeptical friend: "Don't even act like I didn't get that doughnut! I got the doc-u-men-tation right here... oh, wait it's at home... in the file... under 'D'... for doughnut."

Dylan Moran is pretty epic, I gotta say.
There are a few others, but he's my favourite. ^_^

Steven Lynch was the only good comedian on that list.

I love Demetri Martin. I went to go see him live once and he was hilarious. Like he told jokes for two hours, went off stage, then came back on stage and just started to answer questions from the audience and told some like behind the scenes stories that like no one else hears and he lost track off time and ended up going on for another hour. Donald Glover [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0SHjAmD3eWs] is also hilarious. He did like internet comedy and stuff and now he's finally on TV.

That's good for me, though I can also toss Brian Regan and Eddie Izzard in there too.
forgot about Eddie Izzard I love his humour, though none of my American friends do .-.
