If we look at this logically, it has to be Doom Marine. People like Master Chief, WH40K marines etc are cool, but they are bio-engineered super soldiers (or clones) with massive amounts of armour and training. They know from the outset they're going to be fighting brutal alien hordes.

But Doom Marine is just an ordinary space soldier, who gets thrust into the depths of Hell (literally) to fight gigantic cyber-demons with cannons for arms.

He wins.

For the record, I know most alien fans like ripely, but I have to say my favorite alien marine is the 'ultimate badass' whose name i forget - played by the guy who stars in Twister - in Aliens.

Bill Paxton. The only man to be killed by an Alien, a Predator and a Terminator. Awesome.
