Who is your definite "good" and "evil" characters?

Good - Captain America. Usually I don't like characters that are straight good or evil, but Captain America makes it work because he was written in a time where that shit flew and when he was brought back by the Avengers it still worked out because he served as a good contrast to the rest of the Avengers, most of whom were some variety of jerk.
Evil - This one is a bit tougher for me, since being all evil all the time is generally more acceptable to me than all good all the time, at least as far as characterization goes, so I almost too many options here. The two that pop into my head right away are the Joker and Darth Sidious, though.

Evil: The joker, or a good portion of the batman villains, they are batshit insane with no regard for humanity, many villains villains can sometimes come across as more greedy, stupid or unlucky but damn joker, he always has to go one step further for his giggles.
Good: Prophet from Crysis 2, he gave up his life knowing that it slightly increased the world's chances, he did everything he could have for his team and damn is he cool... Maybe not the epitome of good, but still very... heroic.

Evil: The Joker. As evil as other choices are such as Archaon the Everchosen, they want power and dominance. Joker just wants to ruin your day, just cause....
