Now, I like many antagonists, but I would like to pick via mediums before I could choose a favorite...

Manga - Tetsuo from Akira or Keimos from From Far Away
Anime - Scanty and Kneesocks from Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt or Yubaba from Spirited Away
Web Comics - Vriska and Doc Scratch from Homestuck
Western Animation (TV) - Joker from 90's Cartoon Batman, but real name of it escapes me at the moment...
Western Animation (Movies) - Maleficent, Dr Facilier or Scar from the Disney animated canon
Video Games - Oh lord.... I just can't. Too many that I love to hate!

I would say that my favorite antagonist is Toguro, from Yu Yu Hakusho. He's a fairly complex and interesting character that is almost a perfect foil to the protagonist, Yusuke Urameshi.

And that's all I can really say because I have something that I really need to be doing.
Really? I found Sensui to be more of a foil to Yusuke...

Aku from Samurai Jack was always a favorite of mine. He was an evil bastard, every time Jack got close to finding a way back to his own time Aku would show up and snatch victory away at the last second.
I freaking love Aku, he was awesome, and Mako made him that awesome. It made me very sad that they never finished that show...

OT: David Xanatos from Gargoyles was such a cunning bastard I wouldn't help but like him.

I completely agree with this. He was so awesomely hammy.

Wait, what? Tyrion is the closest thing to a protagonist in the entire series (aside from Eddard, but you know). GRRM himself stated that he is his favorite character.

OT: The 90's Lex Luthor, or any other power-hungry corporate executive.

like i said, if he can be considered one. It's a very grey shaded series. Vaerys is an awesome antagonist.

Some of my favorites include
Wesker, Resident Evil series.
That evil guy in Croc.
Colonel Plastro, Sarge's Heroes.
Viola, Zone of Enders.
Mankar Kamoran, Oblivion.
Dagoth Ur, Morrowind.

Of these, Dagoth Ur is my favorite.
Even at the final moments of battle, he doesn't jump to conclusions - he strikes up some conversation and allows you to throw the first punch.

Hmm, Let's See:

Game: Kuja [http://www.cosplayisland.co.uk/files/images/kuja2_0.jpg] from Final Fantasy IX - While his wardrobe could use some work...He manipulated a greedy queen into waging war against surrounding nations including ones ruled by relation and often provided the tools to do so. Kuja was always badass to me, especially when he went trance and destroyed Terra.

Anime: Xellos [http://www.slayersmoon.50megs.com/Typical%20Xellos.jpg] from The Slayers - While he does help the team along, he is on the enemy's side and often leads the group right into danger to further his own goals. I always liked his character.

Movie: Captain Hook [http://captainhookcostume.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/dustincapthook.jpg] from Hook - While growing up I always liked Peter Pan, but after watching Hook my opinion changed, Hook didn't seem so bad anymore... He was more Human, albeit cruel.

It really depends on your point of view, i think Suzaku fucks up Lulu's plans way too often for him to not be considered an antagonist.

I suppose that's just because i'm on Lulu's side, the same could probably be said about Lulu fucking up Suzaku's plans(if he had any good ones)...
