George Carlin of course.

A close 2nd fore me is Steven Wright.
If you're a fan of Mitch Hedburg and you haven't listened to Steven Wright in depth what the hell are you waiting for.

I like a whole lot of them, both Dutch and English, but I think my all-time favorite would be Theo Maassen. His combination of blunt rudeness, social controversy and pure philosophy is, for me, unbeaten. I like the kind of comedy that can actually make you think about or even question everyday happenings, instead of just being entertaining.

Other favorites are the great George Carlin, Belgian maniac Wim Helsen, ex-alcoholic Javier Guzman, Louis Black (his furious story on Starbucks knocks me off my chair with tears rolling down my face every single time) and Louis C.K, mostly because he's such an honest jerk when it comes to family and especially children.

Ones I absolutely hate are Bert Visscher, Jeff Dunham, Jochem Meijer and most of all Marc-Marie Huijbregts.

ITT: Everyone secretly likes Dane Cook but nobody will admit it.

Seriously. I can see right through you people.
I like Dane Cook once. He's not really had anything, other than "The Nothing Fight", that I'd care to hear later on. I think he'd be a riot live, but I mean I'm not surprised either why some people don't care for him.
I liked him the very first time I saw one of his routines on TV.

Then I realized that all of his jokes were the same, and they were barely funny the first time.

When you first see him, you think he's "energetic", but then you realize he's just a spazz.

Bill fucking Hicks.
I can't believe it took 23 post for someone to mention Bill Hicks, the man was a genius.

Aswell as Mr.Hicks, I love George Carlin, Bill Bailey and the Great Charlie Chaplin.

David Cross is my Favorite comedian, he simply is the best of our time.
This isn't his act, it's from his book. It's an open letter to Larry the Cable guy. and also a clip about electric scissors
