Favorite: FDR. For all the griping some people do, he did a tremendous amount to free us from an economic situation far worse than the one we are living in now. The New Deal was an amazing plan that unfortunately no one will ever manage to replicate.

Least Favorite: Nixon. Come on, he committed a felony while in office. He let his paranoia and personal demons carry over to his official duties. He lied under oath. He carried deep personal hatred of anyone different from him. It's not even a contest.

Most favorite: Truman. Least favorite: again Truman.

Most favorite because, altough for purely American interests, his Truman doctrine inspired the Marshallplan which IMMENSELY helpen to rebuild Europe and without it we wouldn't be where we are today.

Least favorite: again Truman with the Truman plan because it's basically the beginning of the cold war which caused alot of wars, deaths and stupidity among Americans (socialist = evil). Okay the cold war may have been unavoidable but this really sped up and intensified the process.

Double-edged sword really .. Still, I'm very grateful to him, I love my Europe.

Lincoln is probably my favorite. Least favorite would probably be Obama. I just don't agree with pretty much anything that guy says.

Ugh... "Lincoln freed the slaves"... from my college US history class they said that all the thing did was free the slaves that were already free... it didn't end slavery...

Anyway, the only two that I remember having in office (since in forth grade I didn't think much about the government)...
Favorite - Obama
Least Favorite - Bush

Oh... there was another one I liked... I can never remember who it is though... he was giving a speech or something and someone ran up and tried to assassinate him... Well, the pistol he had jammed, so he pulled out a backup pistol and fired, and it jammed too... then the president, whoever it was, picked up his cane and started beating the hell out of the guy until the police or security or someone had to pull them apart...

I'm not American but...

Favourite: Franklin Roosevelt. This is a guy who achieved an economic wonder to haul the USA out of the Great Depression, and then did more than any other president to defend freedom and democracy worldwide.

Least favourite: I don't think I've ever considered a US president deserving of serious hatred until GWB and his crass misadventures in virtually every sphere of governance. However, bearing in mind it's hard to have perspective with him being so recent, I might go for Nixon, as a lying, corrupt, scumbag.

I like Abe Lincoln, of course, for being awesome. FDR took us through most of WW2 and the Great Depression and I have to respect him for that, no matter the griping people are doing about him. Clinton, despite whining about his marital infidelity (which was really none of our damn business) had the USA out of debt. I don't give a shit who's blowing him so long as he can run the country. But, instead, people flipped their shit and decided it would be better to humiliate him publicly--but that would be more distracting than having a lady on the side.

Least favorite: Not a fan of Nixon and I loath George W. Bush. He's a moron, he spit in the faces of our allies after they showed such amazing support for us and he is completely disconnected from reality. So glad he's gone.

Abraham Lincoln, the primary reasons being the awesome hat and epic facial hair.

Of course, there is more to being President than taste in hats and facial hair... but not much more.

My favorite president would have to be Washington. You don't get unanimously elected twice for nothing. What's more, he only vetoed a bill if he thought it was unconstitutional, taking no consideration for his opinion.

My least favorite president would be Hoover. He didn't do anything about the great depression and just wanted things to hit bottom so they could go back up.

Jackson for Best the man on the $20. Mostly because he was like an action hero; engaging in duels and chasing his foes across the country.

Buchanan for worst as his entire term in office was a train wreck (though it did allow Lincoln to pick up the pieces and become a 'hero')

Favorite: JFK. I feel like I could put something about real men and bullets, but it just seems tasteless.
Least Favorite: Taft. Hey look guys! I got a bigger bathtub! I haven't done anything else for four years, but hey look at that tub!
