Evil the Cat of Earthworm Jim.

The Tediz of Conker's Bad Fur Day... actually almost any character from that game could work... the great mighty poo, the dung beetles, the bees anyone.
The lost vikings.
Cool Spot.

Zool was amazing, I was rather too young to understand significant attention given too video games.
My friends who owned an Amiga didn't have a copy of it but my grand father did, so I'd assume it got some renown somewhere.
I thought Zool was pretty awesome, back in the day he was my homeboy rather than that fat plumber or the speeding blue hedgehog.
This. James Pond 3: Operation Starfish was the first game I got for the first console I got: the Sega Mega Drive. And lord, was it glorious. Even when I was as wee as I was, I could grasp the epic that was this game. So long, so original, so hard, and so much fun, I have yet to meet a platform game that can match it.ColdStorage said:
Ah yes, I also remember John Vattic. That game was a bit clunky, but a lot of fun.
Apart from James Pond and his partners Findus Frog and that lady fish I can not remember the name of, I have to mention Cupil from Skies of Arcadia when it comes to mascots. He is fairly quirky, and fits Fina so well. Not to mention powerful.
