Also, at the end of the game, I took great satisfaction in hunting down and shooting Edgar ross 5 times in the face for what he did. But it didn't make me feel any better after. Curse you revenge, you hollow *****!
Any video game you say? Why the PC of EVE of course!
Other than that I'm rather undecided, most recent in my mind is Katey from Dead Rising 2 or Noble Six from Reach, but then there is the plethora of protagonists that preceded the characters today.
Im gonna have to say me in oblivion. I save elves and care for small creatures while killing hundreds of gaurds and seeing how many arrows I can fit into one dukes head, Im a bit of an evil protagonist.
My boyfriend and I are were talking about how we both think that silent Protangonists are the best.. Like do you all remember Samus Aran? And how she was a silent protagonist for a long time.. till they decided to give her a voice and made her ***** every goddamn second... Ok maybe not every second but pretty close to it. Anywho... guess I can say I enjoyed Gordon Freeman.

I feel your pain! Going to need a Red Dead's Anonymous at this rate.
OT: I'm going to have to go with Leon, surprise. A lot of what I say about him here is mostly in jest, but I buy even the companion-type games for Resident Evil on the sole basis that he is just in them. Let's not fool ourselves, it's not for his spot-on jokes either, I spend the entirety of those games patiently awaiting a panty shot.
I was going to complain about all the people choosing silent protagonists, but then I remembered Crono. He managed to be the coolest character in a game with a great story and lots interesting characters without ever saying a word.
