Hm... when it comes to protoganists.... I'm gonna have to go with my JRPG favorite Yuri Lowell from Tales of Vesperia.

My favourite is Kain from the Legacy of Kain series. Mostly because Simon Templeman is a superb voice actor. Agent 47 is also pretty awesome; I like the fact that he doesn't kill civilians - not because he's noble, simply because he hasn't been paid to do so, and "if you're good at something, never do it for free."

Can't stand the Chaotic Evil 90's antiheroes. Give me a genuine monster any time...
