Who is your Favourite Stand-up Comedian?

Yo peeps!

Just wondering who likes what stand-up comedian and why? Might be a good way of sharing something good that we all like - laughter.

Mine is Eddy Izzard. I love how his jokes are very physical, never offending (even when talking about subjects such as Christianity) and he can often get quite philosophical/ make you think about subjects in a way you wouldn't before.

It really depends on what they are talking about, most of them are really good but i'm going to go classic with good old George Carlin. He actually uses cuss words for a reason, not just to be edgy.

Ooh, I can't just pick one. I like Jim Gaffigan, Mitch Hedburg, Demitri Martin, and Chris Rock, and that's just scratching the surface.

It really depends on what they are talking about, most of them are really good but i'm going to go classic with good old George Carlin.

Likewise. He was almost always offending somebody, but he was funny as hell. A lot of times he made me laugh so hard that tears ran down my face.

It's just a shame I started watching him after he died.

Demetri Martin. Watch one show and not laugh. I dare ya.

Dead: Between George Carlin or Sam Kinison.

Overall: Let's go with Carlin. The guy was hilarious. And he had hours upon hours stretching upon days of material, unlike many of todays comedians like LtCG or Dat Phan.
