As the character if it's in first person, but third person I go between myself and someone I find either appropriate or hilarious for the text.

I have no idea what kind of voice I read in.

I suppose it is my own.

Three voices in my head debate somethings and choice. And occasionally I get a voice that says "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times; it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness; it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity; it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness; it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair; we had everything before us, we had nothing before us?

If I am reading somebody's autobiography I imagine their voice, I make up voices for novels, I use my own for other non-fiction books. If I had to chose somebody then I would most certainly chose Stephen Fry, in fact I'm imagining his voice as I write this very sentence.

When reading fiction, I hear the character's voice. Anything else I hear what I think my voice sounds like.

It depends, normally it is the voice of the comedian i have seen most recently.
But after reading it tends to be David Suchet (as Poirot)

I use my own voice for third person, and when someone in a book is speaking I make up a voice that I believe is close to that character.

I read the posts on this thread to try and hear my narrator and it's very hard to describe. It's not even a voice. Definitely not my voice though...
