Haven't watched any MLP yet, but why is Powerpuff Girls a "girl show"? Because it has female main characters? Why can't it just be what it is: a good show.

Actually both PPG and Foster's were created by Lauren Faust's husband, Craig Mccracken, though she did work on those shows as well.

Double standards, that's why. It sucks, but that's how it is. Perhaps the number of guys who watched it is a sign of changing times.

Personally, I think Discord is the single greatest kid's cartoon villain ever, but Him's downright creepiness and drop of a hat mood swings are certainly up there.

Ever watched Reboot? The main villain in that show (Hexadecimal) seems a likely inspiration for Him. They share a lot of similar personality quirks.

Yes, Hexadecimal is bad ass. So much better than Megabyte.
