Who plays Terraria?

I do but I am kind of stuck, I have about 5 balls o' hurt, 6 muskets, flamerang, molten armour but I can't get further than that.

I have killed the eater of worlds countless times, the big ol' eye countless times, smashed about 9 shadow orbs and still no orb of light (which means I am walking round with a mining helemt, which ruins armour set bonuses).

The only problem I have with it is it is a little unclear what to do after you get gold stuff.

Currently grinding the Eater of Worlds, because he hates me. I just want to break your shadow orbs damn it! D:
Oh, and full shadow or whatever it was called. However, the goblin armies are just evil.

It was a Day One buy for me
Got so addicted I stayed up far too long on school nights.

Currently I have defeated all the bosses on my own, built a big Jungle Tree House (you can do that now), acquired Jungle Armour, Rocket Boots and the Ninja Outfit and have some of the best weapons in the game.

Admittedly I still lack the Hellstone tier weapons but seeing as I'm already kicking the ass of everything I'd say they're hardly needed.

Next up: PvP-ing with lots of friends! Apparently you can team up with friends and lay siege on each other or something.

I bought it day 1 and got about 50 hours out of it, but once I got full hellstone equipment, there was nothing left to do. I've tried to fire it up since, but I get into a world then just go "eh" and shut it down again.

Those 50 hours were pure awesomeness though.

I have yet to play it, though watching TotalBiscuit and Jesse Cox go through it is genuinely amusing.

However, I have all the best equipment, it was fairly simple to get, and now I want more bosses and armour and such.

Same problem here. Shadowscale was way too easy to get though, thats the turning point of the game where progress suddenly becomes really fast.

Indeed, the game lost all challenge once I built a diving board from my house into the underworld. Cue all the Hellstone tier stuff in under half an hour.

Also, (and I may actually be alone on this one), once you reach the Hell world and you are playing by yourself it becomes impossible. I die within a minute once the fire imps show up.

My little brother and his friends play it together while talking on skype all the time. It's pretty cool i guess, it has more enemies and exploration than minecraft plus a more stable online part.

i love terraria, it has sucked up more than its fair share of my lifespan, i find it to be a more social game than minecraft, and on that note message me the ip of a server (terraria or minecraft) and ill happily join and become a regular addict

I find the trick is to reach hell, mine down (2 blocks wide) until the entire screen in covered by blocks of something (hellstone, ash or lava) then mine a patch of hellstone but never let more than a 4 tall by 3 wide space appear! (basically 1 square bigger than you are in both directions) That is the space needed for a fire imp to show up, just use ash blocks to make the area smaller.

With regards to bone serpants, kill them quickly. I assume you have something like a flamerang or ball o'hurt, just fire it at the floor for a very fast attack speed that deals a lot of damage (thats what I do anyway), also take a good number of health potions.

Yep, I got it off Steam a week or so ago. It's a good game, I didn't think it would be at first, but it was only cheap so I got it anyway.

I'm not a fan. For some reason it just doesn't engage me, I tried, and failed, to stay interested.

I got it along with two other of my friends. We set up a server, got some good gear, killed several bosses, but we all got bored in a week. None of us have touched it since.

It's fun, but it will never hold my attention the way Minecraft has.

Yeah, it's a pretty good game.
I got it sometime last month, and I've been playing it quite a bit.

I've had the game for a couple of days now, and quite frankly I'm fucking addicted. It's that same addiction I got when I first played Runescape all them years ago.

Anyway me and my mate have it, we play online on our own private server through Hamachi which is great fun. What are your thoughts on this new drug?

I just bought it 2 days ago and have yet to play it yet. I'm really looking forward to it. :3 I've been wanting it since it first came out.

I think i bought the game the day it came out on Steam and got some of the best equipment before the "harder" update was released. I still enjoy going onto multiplayer with friends and I get endless amounts of entertainment going onto custom adventure maps with a new character, either single player or multi. (Legend of Gaia was the first single player map I played, which is amazing)
