I was playing Heavy Rain on my launch PS3 which wasn't connected to the internet.

I don't see how, it also affected me, and I didn't even have internet at the time. The reason for it was, a internal problem with the clock reading a leap year (like the Y2k Bug did for computers when the millennium finished) and didn't have nothing to do with the internet.

Hm...Weird. Well, your guess is as good as mine, then. I don't know why, but it (and trophy support) worked just fine.

The strangest thing about it was that, Certain games did work, while some games didn't like Heavy rain for instants.

Also affected console couldn't connect to the internet.

I took a break from my PS3 that day.

My friend told me about it a while after, and I first thought he was full of shit.

I was wrong.

The ApocalyPS3 killed my PS3 hard drive, well it didn't kill it, it turned it from a 60 gig and now all it see's is 30gigs.

So I'm reminded everytime I look at my HDD status and see that 30 rampant gigs has somehow left my PS3.

I think I ranted for a bit about how I couldn't play Heavy Rain then went and slaughtered some people outsi...I mean in Liberty City since GTA IV worked so eh.

I tried playing MAG and couldn't. I didn't play it again until a week ago when a friend got a PS3 and MAG and I was obligated to dive back in.
