Nobody. I've played Bioshock 1 and Infinite, I enjoyed them both greatly. Now I'm ready to play something else and see what new ideas the industry can come up with. I don't need or really want to be playing Bioshock 6 in 2019. If I'm in the mood to play Bioshock more, I'll replay the thoroughly enjoyable games that already exist in the series. If Ken Levine isn't on board, I really, really don't want it to be continued like some sort of cheap, cash-grab fan-fiction.

Well odds are that the Bioshock licence will go to the 2K Marin studio that made Bioshock 2.

However, if another studio were to make the game, I'd love to see Arkane have a go at it.

I really enjoyed the Bioshock series (even Bioshock 2- but perhaps not as much), and I think Infinite is a really great way to end the series. Three games, at least two of which a lot of people agree are pretty great, is more than enough. As much as I would like to see another one, this is where it should probably end.

Ideally, no one. At least to me, the BioShock series has been going downhill ever since the first game, and I really don't want to see it get torn down any further, which is all the cash-grab would do.

However, since 2K is definitely going to continue it, I would like them to bring 4A Games. Sure, Arkane Studios would be better, but I doubt that's even possible. After Arkane, 4A Games probably comes to the closest to making BioShock-styled games, and I actually found Metro 2033 to do a better job of capturing the glories of BioShock than any of the sequels have done.

Given the most likely scenarios, though, it will probably go to 2K Czech. 2K Marin hasn't really worked on an impressive game, and they also underwent layoffs after The Bureau released, so they don't seem really trusted right now. 2K Czech has at least been successful, and the Mafia series is reasonably close to BioShock in terms of what they focus on. Who knows, maybe 2K could even get Yager to come in and work on it. That actually might work out.

I'm so done with Bioshock. Infinite was such a thematically powerful and fitting end to the series, any further entries will be seen as a 'Bioshock 2' sort of cash grab: gameplay wise it'll be strong, but not a fitting sequel.

There doesn't NEED to be another sequel in my opinion. I'm sure I'll play an eventual sequel but it's not something I openly want.
This.

Having a better experience than Infinite would be pretty close to impossible with Levine and his crew running it again. It being Arkham Origins-flavored outsourced next time by already has me staying away and they probably haven't even writtend own the first napkin sketch.

I figured the general sentiment would be "don't make another one" when I came here, and I agree. Considering the ending to Infinite, there really isn't any point in making another one.

My personal pick would actually be The Chinese Room. They're independent, they're innovative, they're great at storytelling and world building, and if you force them to be innovative in the gameplay department, they are more than capable enough of doing fun and interesting things with the gameplay.
I know this is a bit off-topic and I don't want to start a huge argument, but I have yet to see or play any The Chinese Room game that shows that the studio wants to make something more than interactive computer programs that deliver exposition after certain "Involvement Conditions" have been met.

A Bit More OT: Honestly, I would be fine if 2K just put the Bioshock series to rest. While the franchise's legacy may ultimately be a questionable downhill slide, the original creator doesn't want anything to do with the series and I don't think any type of game could please both those who preferred the original Bioshock/Bioshock 2 and those who preferred Bioshock Infinite. However, if I have to pick, I would probably choose 2K Marin. While their output quality is 50%/50% spread amongst two games, their take on the Bioshock property was pretty competent. Sure, it didn't pull any major punches, but it was fun, functional, and well-received.
