[Seeing that I Know you, LeeHarveyO] I'll be happy to play, Considering i brought it up and we're gonna kick some major ass. but yeah, if we could get anyone to play that'd be sweet. Never can have enough D2 Players.

I tried to play it again but there were so few people online it seemed like a waste. How does one build their sets of epic gear if there isn't anyone to trade with? I know I was never lucky enough to actually personally find any of the high level gear my assassin used, instead I found things I didn't need and traded for what I wanted.

Without other people I fear I'd be stuck using run of the mill rare items and never again have the Natalya's Odium set, Bartuc's claw, string of ears and whatever else I had on that character by level 90.

I have played D2 many times over the years. Defiantly one of my favorite games to replay.

I sadly only have room on my computer for one large game, the game currently holding that spot is warcraft3. However word to the wise, if your going to be playing with someone else at all times, the fire sorc is a highly underrated class. just max out warmth, fire ball, meteor, and fire bolt(you have to spend some points on their prerequisites too). after that you should have about 20 skill points left(considering you've done the quests to get the extra ones) and you should put most of the rest on fire mastery but save one or two for teleport(and its prerequisites), teleport is easily the most handy spell to have.

also you want sig armor(full) and there's a sword, an amulet, and a ring with the name angelic something(I forgot the exact name) if you have both of those you get +2 to all skills which takes away the need for mana potions(warmth is so high).

with that set you do about 1.5-2.5k damage with maxed out fire ball(lv 22). 2.5-4k damage with lv about 14 meteor(I never got to max out this character when I played as one), also you get about +285% mana regen with the maxed out warmth(lv 22). but by doing this you give up the ability to duel and you become completely reliant on your teammates in the early parts of hell because everything has a fire immunity.

I'm going to start a new character tonight, if anyone wants to play. I haven't decided what class to be yet, any suggestions?

I think I'm going to go with a summoning/shapeshifting hybrid druid. I realize it won't be the strongest, but it seems like it will be fun.

When you said D2 I thought you meant the creepy tenticle rape survival horror game for the Dreamcast and I thought "Why in hell would anyone still play that horrible game."

absolutely! i'd have to agree its taken many years of my life as well, and yes it does become a grind but its only the grind at the very end that gets on your nerves, the grinding is ok as long as you're still getting somewhere at a relative pace, once you're in the lvl 90's it gets bad for slow progression though. But its leading up to that, especially if you have your gear and you're just molding your "perfect" character its pretty rewarding. Unfortunately D3 is probably going to demolish what D2 community is left as on average the "USA WEST" realm has 50 000 or so players
