Goddamn spikes in VVVVVV account for the last 400 deaths or so ive had.

Spikes in VVVVVV. So many spikes. So many deaths.

Why that's quite low.... I got to, 983 deaths on my first run, which also happen to be my last played game, where I also died to some "enemies", but most of that is from spikes. That one shiny trinket in the Veni, vini, vinvci!, easy mode unlocked, your bitter tears.. delicious, and, getting here is half the fun, sections is a fair contributor to those death, also Doctor Violet.

Oh, don't misunderstand. 400 deaths came from my last SESSION of VVVVVV. I loaded the game at The Final Challenge. Those deaths were almost all on one screen. My final total was around 1000, but I never did get that trinket. I eventually came to terms with the fact that Veni Vini Vinvci was ruining my life.

It also occurred to me, why VVVVVV is named what it is. I had always assumed that it was just a representation of the crew names, but never realized why they were all given V names. Then I realized that it is because the name itself is a series of spikes.

Before those 400 deaths or so, my last death was at the hands of some Banelings, in the first Protoss level.
