Uhm. Ahh, it was definitely a Pan Arms from Phantasy Star Online. Though he won the fight, because as soon as I 1 shot him, my game crashed.

I've been very tempted to drag out my Gamecube to play some PSO, playing on the DS just doesn't compare.

You are referring to Phantasy Star Zero right? I was thinking of buying that, or at least getting it as a rental to see if it's any good. What's it like? I actually play Blue Burst for PC though with a friend here on the Escapist. So far we're having lots of fun!

It's good fun, better than PSU [not hard to achieve though!] although feels kinda off. You still have the old technique systems [wooo Grants + Megid make a return, pewpew], but to cast the stronger versions you have to hold down the button you map it to, and thats one little flaw, it copies the old style palette system, but doesn't let you utilise the X button. Still has the grinding through certain areas to find elusive Red crates, its goes back to the old Mag system of feeding your little robotic helper to make it transform and buff you up.

Although I haven't tried it online yet.

Er... considering how I've been playing Phantasy Star Zero for the last five hours now (hooray for 89 Floors of the Eternal Tower in one sitting...), around 500 cannon fodder enemies. The very last enemy I killed was a "Korse". A small, flying machine/turret thing.

Before that, around 20 LYNX pilots from Armored Core: For Answer, including the last boss.
