Uh not really. Same annoying character, playing the same role and killing one of the best Halo characters. The only thing was was different is that you could finally fry that *****.
Yeah, and I love it when they didn't even bother to give Slippy a believable last name. Fox McCloud Falco Lambardi Slippy ...Toad. Doesn't seem like a last name but more like a synonym for his character (and yes I meant for that comment to have more than one meaning).

For me, it has to be the chained up meals... I mean Humans in Legacy Of Kain: Blood Omen 2. Nothing has irritated me to my very core then the following words:
"Please.... Help Me Kind Sir."
Now imagine that in a high whiney voice with an English accent. And it gets repeated EVERY FUCKING 15 SECONDS until you snap and force the blood to shoot out of their chest. Which off topic... was a pretty bitchen way on how to drink blood. That has to be the most annoying thing for me in a long time.
At first listening to Three-Dog on Galaxy News Radio was fun until he started using the same dialogue over and over gain. My personal favorite that still makes me cringe like I?m sucking on a lemon is the one where he says, `What?s up, WASTELANDERS!?`, putting a sickly squeal into his voice for the last part. From there it only gets worse when he does the John Henry Eden impression followed by the generic newsflashes about your recent activity. Just get on with playing some classic music, man. However, I will applaud the developers for giving you the ability to go the radio station itself and blow him away thereby vaporising him from the radio waves and out of my ears. I personally took the combat shotgun to his legs, then took his arms off with the katana then proceeded to plant mines under his head followed by a blast of the Mini-Nuke gun. Ahhhhhh, sweet sweet wasteland justice.
Being forced to escort a useless npc is bad, losing points and extra levels due to being separated from him for even half a second is annoying, that shrill cry being added to the mix has lead to amusement at the idea of bypassing child protective systems in the Sims.
I don't know if he is the most annoying ever but recently Emile from Halo: Reach has gotten under my skin in a bad way.
Just to be clear I do still think there are some redeemable parts to him, he looks cool with the skull face and everything, he has awesome weaponry and the ability to use them and he does have a few redemptive moments in conversations with other members like that last bit with Carter on the Pelican.
And yet, he still annoyed me. Mainly because he was such a jerk, he insults people constantly, he's cocky, arrogant, self righteous and has a ridiculous meanstreak. He laughs at things that are plain unfunny, he is always cynical when in meetings and doesn't even seem to have any strong feelings one way or another when mortality is on the line.
To the point of mocking a man who has just lost his son and then subsequently insulting Jorge for being comforting to a girl who just lost her father. He certainly doesn't personify any particularly good or dare I say "noble" traits of the human race.
I dunno, he bothered me quite a bit. Although he still ultimately redeems himself in a few key points for the most part he's just the guy in the skull mask who's mean to everybody.
Also:
His death was quite cool and even slightly moving (although it pissed me off that we never saw his face, did they run out of time or something?) ultimatley I still found myself more inclined to feel sympathy for the Sangheili Field Master then I did for him. Although that could just be because of my Pro Sangheili Bias.

Roman Bellic, hey cousin want to go bowling? no cousin I'm a little busy cleaning up your debts and killing people made some other time.
Five minutes later *ring*
first time I saw this guy I thought "HOLY CRAP HIS HAIR IS ON FIRE!" shortly after I walked of a mountain and this guy plunged to his death I survived thanks to a high agility OT: ANY characther you need to protect ANY
