Who were the first music group you lstened to?

The first band I actually took an interest in was either Linkin Park or Sum 41. Don't listen to LP so much anymore, kind of outgrew them a bit I think but I still enjoy the more technical Sum 41 songs.
I did listen to quite a bit of hip-hop and rap and then I outgrew it, Listened to linken park and found that as a easy gateway, And I went onto alternative. Rock and metal soon followed.
First group ever would have been the Spice Girls but that doesn't really count seeming as it was involuntary and I was like 7. First group I listened to and enjoyed was the Vengaboys (yes... how very gay) but again, I was under the evil influence of my sister and being 8 and thinking that the two girls were hot. First group I genuinely count is Nirvana and then KoRn. Can't really remember which came first but atleast it took me away from Euro trash pop.
Alot of CCR and Smashing Pumpkins, from my sister. Alot of crummy Hip-Hop from my brother (Not that I don't like any of it, but he wouldn't know good hip-hop if it kicked him in the sack. He listened to that ganster rap bullshit.) And alot of Rollingstones, Eagles and the beatles from my parents. Gah, there too much too count.
I don't really remember. I know my brothers used to listen to ICP alot, so maybe them. There was also Creed. Really don't remember such meaningless things, but atm my fav band is Ashes Divide.
Well, I grew up in the Boy Band era, so the VERY FIRST group I've ever listened to was the Backstreet Boys.
