Out of all our countless video game characters we know, love and hate, who do you believe would be the best and/or worst roommate to live with?

I saw a similar thread to this two or three years ago when I first joined, checked the search bar and I think this is good to go.
So Escapist, who would you dream or hate to share the rent with?

I'll roll with Duke Nukem for the worst roommate for me, sure the countless partying and badassery would be awesome for a week, but soon the apartment is wrecked beyond repair, there are passed out hookers everywhere and Duke will 'get right around' to paying that light bill after his lap-dance.

As for best, I think the Queen/King from Fable 3, hardworking, good amount of gold coming in, has control over our rent, has a cute dog... Sounds perfect!
...
Until they show up with their 7 spouses.

Yoshimitsu via assorted fighting games. Always having a positive attitude and doing spinny tricks with his robotic/wooden body parts, and he can teleport to get us some delicious beverages without missing the big game! What's not to like?

The boomer from L4D would be pretty bad. The stench, the zombie attraction to your living quarters, the explosive personality... not fun, not fun.

Worst room-mate for me, hmm...I'd probably say Oghren from DA:O. Mainly as I wouldn't be able to stop myself from yanking his beard whilst yelling "NOT THE BEARD!" Because I'm strange like that. Or Zev from the same game. The sex orgies would be fun, but it would surely get boring to hear after the 7th one in that night alone.

Best room-mate would be either Chuck Greene, for I think he is awesome, or possibly Ben Finn from Fable III. And I'm not saying Finn just because he's voiced by someone I have a total man crush on, this being Simon Pegg. Of course not. That'd be just ridiculous. ...*Kicks Pegg's shrine door closed*

Daxter would be awesome to have around.

Kleiver, not so much.

This was basically my response, but I was going to put Pecker instead of Kleiver.

The worst would have to be Pac-Man. Bastard cant move without yelling "waga waga" and he constantly eats everything in his path.

The best for me would probably be Grayson from Bulletstorm.Somone robbing you? He'll kick em in the head and shoot them in the nuts, and gain money from it! Friend annoying you? He can kick them out, whilst gaining money! You'll be rich since as long its creative and its kicked, you'll gain it.

Kirby would be possibly the worst roommate I think. The reason is that he would eat every bit off food you have causing the grocery bills to be very very high.
As for the best roommate I would have to say that would be Clank. He's small, intelligent, and can make some funny wise cracks from time to time. Plus I doubt he'd run up a large bill like how Kirby would.

I live in the UK, where we don't have 'roommates' per se. So I'd hardly be sharing an actual bedroom with anyone. But as far as flatmates and such go, I wouldn't want to live with the Master Chief or Cortana, despite me being something of a Halo fanboy. Okay, they'd both be pretty awesome to hang around with. But bear in mind I tend to use Safari for general web-browsing (because it's much better than IE) and IE for my not-so-innocent stuff. That is to say, porn. So I wouldn't ant the risk of Cortana seeing all that (and she would see it, she'd be on my laptop for random 'innocent' reasons no doubt - she is a Smart AI after all, and designed for intrusion and counter-intelligence...) as soon as she decides to take a sneaky peak at my laptop. As for the Master Chief, again, cool to hang with, but as far as mornings go, he'd probably be waking me up every morning at 6am sharp for reveille, being a military guy, and I like a lie-in when I don't have 9am lectures, thank you very much. Sheer laziness puts me off living with him, therefore.

As for people I'd love to live with, there are two. One is the obvious choice, that is to say, the choice if I was living with, say, a girlfriend or whatever. That would be April Ryan. Basically she's my favourite video-game girl, and as well as having most of the characteristics in-game of my real-life perfect girl, she's bloody hot to boot, while still being down-to-earth and realistic as a character. So if I had a video-game girlfriend (assuming we were in this thread's world where game characters are real enough for us to live with), then I'd probably want to move in with her at some point.

Otherwise, I'd love to share a flat with Crash Bandicoot. He's lazy, like me, so I wouldn't need to worry about being woken up early listening to him cluttering about the place doing stuff, or about him hogging the bathroom. I reckon he'd be good when it comes to partying, we could go out and have a few beers and a laugh and whatever. Overall, he'd be pretty easy to deal with as a flatmate. The only real concern I'd have then would be him paying his rent and his share of the bills on time, because I don't think he'd have much cash usually. I doubt many places are really willing to hire a bandicoot.

Best? Sniper, from TF2. He seems like a very well-behaved, friendly sort of fellow, even with the ... jars.

Worst? I was gonna go with Garrus and his constant excuses about being too busy calibrating to get anything done, but then I remembered Irenicus. Disarming dozens of traps and murdering legions of goblins and Shadow Thieves just to get to the bathroom would get really tiresome after a while.

He'd always pick out good(?) movies to watch.

Worst?

I think the best would be Ico. Nice guy, quiet, very loyal, and can climb up to those high spaces. If something needs fixing on the roof, or the satellite dish needs adjusting, I wouldn't ever need a ladder.

Barry Burton from Resident Evil would be the worst. He'd either irritate me with all his "sandwich jokes" and bad nicknames (master of...whatever it is I'm a master of). And that's barring the possibility that Wesker would hold his family hostage to keep him from paying his share of the utility bills.

Best: Any of the Castle Crashers. All they do is party and kill shit. Pretty okay in my book.

Worst: Pyramid head. His sword would get the floor all bloody.

I think I'd love to room with Batman. Can you even comprehend how awesome that would be?
Or one of the DOA girls. >.>
What? I can be shallow!

But the worst I can think of would be Kratos. Always yelling stuff, prone to violent outbursts, and I don't think I stand a chance of living if I somehow piss him off.
Which would be inevitable.

Alex Mercer would be a strange roommate. You'd send him out for a quick grocery run, he'd be on his way, accidentally kill someone, and you'd be watching him on the news running from the gunships with a sack of food in his hand--and you just know he'd forget the bread.

Cole McGrath would be cool. Never have to pay an electric bill again.

Though Oghren and Leliana would be fun to have around for drinking games.

Best: Bill Overbeck.
I don't need to justify this.

Worst: Daniel (protagonist of Amnesia)
"What rent? I'm sorry, but I seem to have taken a drug that makes me forget things. Oops."
