Probably the Sour Queen (it's the Clown Prince, the story goes that the King falls mysteriously ill, but the Prince (who has previously decided that monarchy is boring and gone to learn to be a Jester) doesn't wish to step up to his "rightful" role. The Queen tries to rid the land of laughter, and so the Clown Prince gets hunted. Don't worry, he makes it out alive by tricking the Queen into laughing, where she is put to death by her own guards (who are then dismissed immediately by the new king)).
