Hmmm... well, since my avatar is a Valyrian Sphinx (from A Song of Ice and Fire), I guess my enemy would be the Empire of Old Ghis [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghis] - in ancient times, the great Ghiscari Empire was brought low by the comparatively new Freehold of Valyria [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Across_the_Narrow_Sea#Valyria] and it's fearsome dragons.

Or you might say that my new enemies are the ice demons known as the Others [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Night%27s_Watch#Others], and their dark master, the Great Other. Dragon fire, magically forged Valyrian steel, and "dragonglass" (obsidian) are the few things that can kill an Other.
