The Man (Viggo Mortinson's character in "The Road")

This guy is jam-packed full of survival instinct and will-power.

That being said, any fictional character played by Viggo Mortinson would be a good companion.

See Hidalgo or Eastern Promises if you need proof of that statement
I can't be the only person who thought he was in his mid-thirties after seeing him play Aragorn, can I? Seriously, I was really surprised when I found out he was in his fifties at the time that was filmed...

Anyhow, I'd probably pick Seras Victoria, Lucy (Elfen Lied), or any of the girls from Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni, as my companion on an adventure. Reason being, an attractive girl is always useful on an adventure, if only for helping to get into places, and it helps to have people who know what they're doing in a fight, too ;). Especially useful if the crazy psycho girls are on your side, not the enemy's...
Mortenson is in his 50's! WTF?

Failing that, Samwise Gamgee, just because I've always wanted my own personal ***** manservant.
Yup, according to Wikipedia, Viggo Mortensen is 51. So I got it slightly wrong in my earlier post, he was in his late forties when the LOTR films were made, and he's 51 now. Born October 20th 1958, apparently...
WOW! Man's lookin' good for his age, if I may say so without being too bromoerotic.

Anyone seen Eastern Promises? He's awesome in that.

Apologies for being horribly off topic by the way.

Sort of reminded me of a more action focused version of the GodFather.

Hrist Valkyrie. I don't care if I have to die to be her Einherjar to get her to agree to help with my goal or not. I would just love to be able to go on any kind of adventure with her.

/hero worship speech. lol

Yeah, agreed, to an extent. I'd say it was more focused than the Godfather, but not on action particularly. Theres barely any real "action" in the film at all. I just like the slow kind of menace that the Russian Mafia exude, and Mortensen plays a major part in helping that menace emit itself.

Or some shit.

I'm drunk, and I need to go to bed, but that's my thoughts on the film and Viggo's part in it. He was a pretty ideal adventure companion in The Road though, apart from his having really bad TB and all...

Dogmeat. Him or Deekin. Looking at that little kobold nuke the crap out of everything in sight just warms my heart <3

Oh, and having to listen to "ummm....boss?" every few minutes will help break the tension.

Uhhh...God? Can I choose Him? What about Zeus or Athena?
You could...But where's the fun and originality in that?
It doesn't matter if it is fun or original. The world is more important than my amusement!!

But really, going with my ultimate weapon here...

That's right, UNICRON BITCHES! He's a robot that creates other transformers, and is the size of a PLANET!

Dude, he'd roundhouse kick you in the FACE for even suggesting he join you.

Personally, I want either Jigglypuff or Amaterasu if we have to go for fictional characters. Real people, I think I'd rather go it alone. Or bring my roommate if we need cannon fodder.

My gaming buddies.

Also known as Harmer, Innison, Steph and the General.

So cool, I'm actually putting them into their own game :)
