Subject Zero/Jack. So unlikable I basically didn't care -at all- when she went out like a candle in a windtunnel by the End Run.

You actually have to try to get that ending. It's possibly harder to get that, than the best ending.

I'd have to see how their survival will affect ME3.

Miranda Miranda Miranda.
If you want DAT ASS, Tali's fine.

Yep, get no modifications for your ship and make sure that everyone isn't loyal. No one, including the main character, will make it out alive.

I save everyone, mostly because I'm not the kind of person who wants someone to die just because they have a personality I find lacking. If they're pointing a gun at my face however, well that ***** be goin' down.

I'm sure not everyone is a Mary Sue, and that they want to add flavor by letting certain teammates die. Do you let them die naturally, or do you have a plan where you want specific people to die? For me, there's 4 people I wouldn't mind dying on my team at the end:

Jacob: For the same reason everyone hates him. Generic Moralfag 01. At first I thought he had more depth than Kaiden, but when I replayed 1, Kaiden and Ashley had the most personality by far, Kaiden especially. Jacob just seemed like a flat replacement. Even though I let Kaiden die (a mistake I regret, should have let Ashley bite the bullet), it wasn't my choice. With Jacob, he's dying because he serves no purpose. He's okay, but not that great or important.

Miranda: Cerberus cheerleader, slut, dull and boring, and she sucks as a fighter. No further comment.

Jack: Woman trying to act like a *****, and I mean REALLY trying. Reminds me of a few women I ran into, like I needed a reminder. Just... yeah, she can die for all I care.

Thane: He's going to die anyway, and he's just ME2's replacement for Wrex, who I didn't like until Mass Effect 2 anyway. Thane is just depressing, and nowhere near as badass as everyone hypes him to be. He can die.

Everyone else has a moment where they prove themselves to be funny, deep, or just plain interesting to me. I think 4 people dying would make it seem more grave without being excessive. What're your thoughts? If someone had to die, or if there were teammates you hated, who would they be/who are they?
Wrex was replaced by Grunt. People hate Jacob because he was Kaidan's replacement. Miranda was a great fighter in my group. I have no comment about Jack.

Anyway, Jacob can die but I would prefer everyone else live.

Hmmm...I can't really think of anybody who I want to die. I guess I'm just to nice.

PS, anybody who says tali has to answer to me.

I have saves where everyone's alive ... I also have a save where the only squadmates alive are ...
Wait for it ...

Thane and Morinth.

That game would be the most hilarious import into ME3, ever.

If I say Jacob, will people call me a racist?

Nah screw it! I'd let Jacob die. Him or Miranda.

The thing is, Jacob just really isn't that interesting a character for me to care, and Miranda comes off as a *****.

No sane leader sets good soldiers up to die just for the hell of it.

And while Miranda is a bit of a *****, she is the game's most versatile squad member.

I wouldn't mind if everyone but Tali died...Ok and maybe Legion can live too. Best import ever two squadmates who hate each other are the only ones that live (well Legion can't feel hate but shut up)

Also just Miranda and Jack living would be pretty lol (and Tali just because i can't bear to let her die)

I also have an unreasonable amount of "don't you dare die on me" syndrome for Legion, simply because he died in my first playthrough in what can only be described the most dickish move ever (A fucking loyal geth can't hack a door?!) and i accidentally gave him to Cerberus in my second playthrough. I made that ***** live in my third playthough goddammit! If he dies in ME3 I.WILL.RAGE!

I actually ended up liking all of the characters, so if I had to choose it'd be based on their usefulness as party members.

Jacob- He has no shield breaking biotic skills and a short range weapon. Especially disappointing considering his load-out in the Iphone game, Mass Effect Galaxy. Now that Jacob, I'd love to have as a party member.

Jack- She's a bit better due to the fact that she can get Warp ammo, but, meh Pull and Shockwave aren't as good as Push or Warp or either Morinth or Samara's special powers.

I find that lots of people hate Miranda, but as the only sentinel in the party, save for Shepard potentially, and one possessing both shield and barrier breaking powers, and she gets a class skill that can raise the maximum health of all members in the active party, I find her to be the most useful member of the squad. On Insanity runs, she's always with me.

Beyond that I guess I'd say Thane, because he's going to die soon anyway and Samara because she seems the type to make a heroic sacrifice for the greater good.

When I said Thane was a replacement for Wrex, I meant their personalities were very similar: depressive, self destructive, and conflicted. Grunt is NOTHING like Wrex, in fact, he's 5 times better. Wrex can kiss my ass, he sucked balls until the second game, anyway.

I will agree I liked Kaiden far more than Jacob, though. Ashley and Kaiden were the best in the first game, and I think replacing them with Miranda and Jacob was one of the VERY few crippling setbacks.
